Hours had passed. It mainly consisted of you playing with the members, then time for them to record songs leaving you in complete silence. Sometimes you'd even speak with staff, but most of the time it was your own thoughts speaking to you.
Picking up your phone, you checked the time, a sigh escaping your lips. It had been a while since you had seen the boys and it was getting late. Pushing yourself out of the chair, you opened your phone to the group chat between the boys that you had been added to. Texting them you were leaving, the moment it sent a door opened. Gently bumping into a person, you backed up and looked up at Jungkook who rubbed his neck. "Hey y/n! Sorry for taking so long, Hoseok was feeling down."
"Really?" Your eyes widened a little bit, "is he okay?"
"Yeah, he's fine now. He wants to hang out here tonight though, continuing to work on the song." Jungkook sighed. You nodded looking down, forcing a small smile across your lips. "Oh...that's fine! Tell him I said goodnight." You looked back up at Jungkook who smiled a little.
"You need a ride home?" A voice from behind you made you flinch a little, turning around, you brushed your hair out of your face as your eyes connected with Yoongi's. "Ooo! Yoongi asking a girl if she has a ride?" Jungkook cooed, Yoongi glared at Jungkook. "Night robbers are a thing, Jungkook." He hissed. The maknaes smile disappeared. "True, do you have a ride?" Jungkook asked you.
Looking between the two boys, you inhaled deeply. "I'm fine, thank you though. I can call somebody." You smiled at Yoongi who looked down at the floor. "Don't wait outside the building, okay?" Jungkook warned, you nodded walking away from both of them.
"You never offer somebody a ride, Yoongi, are you crushing?" Jungkooks voice cracked behind you after you had reached the door, thinking you were out of ear shot, you paused, listening through the crack in the door. "No, I don't. It's just dangerous at night." Yoongi sighed.
"Really?" Jungkook teased, Yoongi scoffed. "Just don't tell Hoseok, he's really protective over her and I don't wanna get on his bad side. I like his happy side."
You couldn't help but crack a small smile, gently closing the door quietly and continuing to make your way out the building. The setting sun kissed your face, lighting up your eyes, the soft breeze blowing your hair behind your shoulders. A soft and quick exhale slipped from your slightly parted lips, pulling out your phone and calling a cab.
Getting a driver, you thanked them and hung up. You pressed your phone against your chest, taking in the setting sun. The fresh air filling your nose, the calmness of the evening settling in. The moon visible in the light blue tinted sky, a few stars visible opposite from the setting sun.
Pulled away from your peace as the cab pulled up, you checked the driver before getting in. You closed the door, giving your address to the driver, he pulled away as you rested your arm against the arm rest, propping your chin on your palm, your eyes glued to the changing scenery as the sun hid further under the sky.
You had never felt so much at ease in ages. You didn't have an excuse for it, other than you never took the time to look. Holding your bag to your stomach, your legs crossing at the ankles. Your phone buzzed catching your attention, peeking at the notification, you couldn't ignore that you were a bit sad that it was a social media notification and not a text. You were dying to text somebody, but everybody else had lives to live.
"We're here, Miss." the driver spoke up, catching your attention. You looked up, then out the window and the lobby of your apartment complex. "Oh! Right, here." You paid him, getting out of the car thanking him. "I'll watch you go in, it's dangerous around this area." The driver nodded at you. You smiled back at him. "I get told that a lot, thank you." You turned on your heel, making your way into the doors, looking over your shoulder for a moment, the driver did just as he said. He watched you enter the building before driving off.
It felt good to know people were watching out for you, but it felt annoying that people get reminding you the same thing over and over.
Checking your phone again hoping for at least a text from Hoseok, but the only text you got last from him was a day ago. Aggravated, you put your phone into your bag and huffed. Walking quickly to the elevator and taking it to your floor.
Your feet carried you without any thoughts in your head as you found yourself in front of your apartment door. Unlocking the door and heading in, closing the door and setting down your keys on the island counter, you threw off your bag and face planted into your bed pillows. Groaning into your pillows.
You slightly regretted doing that, cause you immediately fell asleep.
