"What are you doing?" Hoseok asked sternly. You stood up, brushing a loose hair from your bun behind your ear. "I got carried away...I'm sorry..." you shied down as he walked confidently towards you. Swooping your laptop off the ground, he eyed you before putting on your headphones. You stood there awkwardly as he played the track you had made.
You were ready for him to say it was bad. For him to trash it. To scold you for getting into his work.
He finished the song, pulling off the headphones. "I don't like it." He looked at you to which you held your head. Twiddling with your fingers. "I love it a lot." He cracked, you looked up shocked, he smiled brightly at you. "Since when did you become a composer? I had no idea you could produce music!" He chortled, you cracked a small smile. "Well yeah...I guess so." You rubbed your arm, watching him kneel down to all your work. "These lyrics...gosh...who are you gonna show these to?" He asked, you shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe only you, I was just continuing the work you brought hone." You shrugged.
Hoseok picked up one of the papers, turning to you. "Are you confident in these lyrics?" He asked, you shrugged, while producing music was something you were confident in, writing words for these songs wasn't. "No, I was thinking maybe Jungkook could help." You smiled a bit brighter as he stood up putting his hands on your shoulders. "Y/N! You're a freaking genius! Come on! We gotta get to Jungkook!" He saved the work on your laptop before closing it and putting it into his backpack, swinging it over his shoulder, you stared at him in shock. He hadn't been so excited for something in such a long time.
Quickly putting on shoes, you ran after him as he left the room, you chased after him, brushing through people as he carefully ran further ahead.
You accidentally bumped into somebody's shoulder, turning around, you quickly bowed your head saying sorry, only they grabbed your wrist pulling you into them. "Hey! Where you ever taught manners?" He hissed, you panicked saying sorry a bunch of more times. He raised his hand to slap you only another hand grabbed his wrist pulling it away from you. A much taller, broader shouldered man stood in front of you. "Don't touch a lady!" He yelled, slightly lunging at the other guy who flinched back and quickly continued walking. The man turned to you, a black mask and hat hiding his face well. "Hey Y/N, you okay?" Seokjin asked. You gasped a little and nodded. "What are you doing out here, Jin?"
"Was getting some things for the rooms. Where was Hoseok running off to?" He questioned. You sighed a bit. "He was running to Jungkook. I created a little music and Hoseok liked it a lot."
"Y/N!" A voice yelled behind you, turning around, Hoseok and Jungkook came running up to you with their faces in disguises. "I got so scared...what happened?" Hoseok asked, breathing heavily, before you could answer, Jin butted in. "She got grabbed by a stranger, you're lucky I was here." He scolded a little, Hoseok huffed angrily. "Where is that stranger? I'll give him a piece of my mind for touching Y/N..."
"It doesn't matter." You interrupted him, looking at Jungkook who was still catching his breath. "Hi Jungkook." You acknowledged, he nodded back at you, looking back at Hoseok, you smiled a bit when he checked his phone and his eyes widened. "Hoseok..."
"Jungkook has the song, by the way." Hoseok interrupted. Your jaw clenched. "Hoseok..." you tried again only to be interrupted by him again. "You and him can go over lyrics, manager said I have to get back to work, so I can't stay here long."
"Hoseok...!" You raised your voice again only he turned his attention to Jin. "Thank you Jin, I'm sorry for oversleeping, I gotta go."
"Hos..."
"Bye!" He turned and ran back in the direction of the company. "Hoseok!" You yelled, only he didn't look back as he continued running. He never ignored you, so it felt like you had just been abandoned. It felt unreal. One moment he was cuddled up into your arms as you felt yourself sinking further into love with him, and the next he runs off ignoring you. "Um...well...do you wanna work on the song?" Jungkook asked awkwardly. You didn't want anything to do with the song anymore. But since Jungkook was here, and you went through some trouble to get to this point, you nodded and went with him to a cafe. Jin had gone his separate way.
You and Jungkook spent a few more hours in the cafe, laughing and coming up with lyrics. The sun kissed your backs since you were sitting against the window seats, the sun igniting all your work. The golden glow from the sun lighting up your faces with a beautiful soft tint.
After hours of work on the lyrics and matching the tones, you and Jungkook had to come up with the song name. "Galaxy." Jungkook offered, you shook your head. "Nah, it's too...bland." You scoffed, Jungkook shrugged. "What about the fans chant and name it that? I'll Show You?"
You thought about it only to shake your head once again. "No, that's reserved for you and the fans."
"You're right...hmm...Home?" He made little jazz hands to which you giggled shaking your head. "Doesn't fit right...let's get deep...the song is a deep song for fans, we have to make it something fans can connect to, something that fans can...disappear into a world of imagination...their own imagination...with who they want in it, and when they're feeling down, they come to this song, and open a world of endless possibilities...with you...with BTS..." you leaned against the table, staring down at the paper. Jungkook seemed to tear up a bit at your small inspiration which you giggled a little bit at. "Your words...damn Y/N, eighth member of BTS right here." He joked, sending you both into fits of laughter.
Calming down, you peered outside the window. Suddenly, a ray of sun peaked through a few buildings and trees, the rays landing perfectly on a sparkling sign. You looked down at the lyrics, reading them over, your stomach in your throat, you gently ran your finger over I do believe your galaxy.
"Magic Shop." You whispered, Jungkook looked at you, tilting his head a little. "Magic Shop." You said again, only more audibly. Jungkooks face lit up in a smile. "Yes! Magic Shop! That's perfect!"
"Excuse me you two, this place is closing." An elderly lady cracked into your conversation to which you both gasped and quickly packed up your stuff, setting it into your backpacks and thanking the lady, paying her for the drinks you ordered and laughing together as you both stumbled into the street. "Magic Shop! That's the name!" Jungkook cheered, you laughed and hugged him. The entire day of stress relieved from your shoulders.
You two hugged for a moment before pulling away. "Thank you so much Y/N, this means so much, I'll tell Hoseok everything!" Jungkook smiled brightly. You chuckled, crossing your arms comfortably. "I hope he'll like it."
"He ran all the way to the company for this, I'm sure he'll love it." Jungkook hugged you again. "Do you want a walk home?" He asked, you shook your head, brushing the loose hair out of your face. "There's still some sunlight, I can make it." You giggled, he nodded and hugged you one last time before running in the direction of the company.
You smiled watching him go. If they did go through with this song, you hoped it would do good. Turning around, you quickly began your walk back home. Passing by the shop, you glanced at the sign before fixing your gaze to the ground. Only you paused. You hadn't entered the shop, yet there were words on the sign.
The front of the sign labeled in big bold letters; So Show Me. You walked to the other side staring up at it. The other side of the sign in big cursive letters; I'll Show You.
Another bright smile cracked your face.
But yet, something deep down inside you told you, that all of that may have been a mistake.
