It was a normal day like all the others.
The weather is nice outside. The sun is shining, there is a clear blue sky and the birds are happily chirping.
Only one person could be annoyed at such a beautiful day...
'This is so stupid. I mean, I don't hate reading, but why this book?' Yoongi throws the books he had in his hands on the grass ground.
Taehyung and Yoongi were sitting outside, reading a book to improve their English. But obviously, the mint green-haired boy didn't quite like the book.
Taehyung looks up from his book to see what his older friend was making a scene about. The brown-haired boy raised an eyebrow when he saw that Yoongi was sitting with his arms crossed looking at the grass in front of him.
'You know.' Taehyung started. 'We almost finished the book. It's like, what three chapters until the end and you're giving up now? That's a little weak don't you think.' He shrugged.
Yoongi looked at Taehyung, who was back at reading again.
The older sighed but he knew that there was no point in arguing. In the end, they had to make a small test about the book so Namjoon could see if they really read the book.
And trust me, nothing is worst than an angry Namjoon.
So Yoongi grabbed his book once again and started his reading.
*30 minutes later*
'So.' Taehyung said as he closed his book. 'I'm done.'
'And they lived happily after that.' Yoongi mumbled. 'Yeah me too, get the test, then we can make it together.'
Taehyung nodded. He stood up and walked inside. A few minutes later the brown-haired boy returned with two papers and two pencils. Taehyung sat back next to his friend and read the first question.
'"What was your favorite part of the story?"' Taehyung read out loud. He looked at Yoongi for a response.
'Uhmm... Oh wait, I know this.' The mint green-haired boy said and wrote something down on his paper.
'And?' Taehyung asked curiously.
'When he left her alone in the rain that night at prom. I mean the book sucked, but that part felt relatable.' The older shrugged.
'How is that even rela-. You know what, doesn't matter.' Taehyung shook his head and smiled. 'Do you wanna know what my favorite part was?'
'Sure.' Yoongi shrugged.
'I liked it when after that he left her, he came running back and kissed her. You know, that was so romantic. Like they were just supposed to be.' The brown-haired boy sighed.
'Yeah right, next question please.' Yoongi said.
'Okay okay.' Taehyung shifted a little bit so he was more comfortable. 'The next question is "what emotions did you experience as you read this book?".'
'Haha, that one is easy.' The mint green-haired boy laughed.
'Oh really?' Taehyung looked at Yoongi for an answer.
'Yeah, of course, it's dead.' Yoongi replied.
It was silence for a moment. Yoongi was really proud of his answer. He looked at Taehyung for a reaction, but he didn't get one. Instead, Yoongi got a blank stare from his younger friend.
The mint green-haired boy creased his eyebrows and waved with his hand in front of Taehyung's face. 'Hello, someone there?'
Taehyung got a bit startled from the sudden action, but soon was back on Earth.
'You know that's not an emotion right?' Taehying asked with a little smile, already knowing that this question was leading to nowhere since Yoongi always did what he wanted.
And Taehyung was right.
'Well, it is now.' Yoongi shrugged.
Taehyung laughed, shook his head, and went on to the next question.
