Insecure

Chapter 1

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and some bouncing on the bed. I opened my eyes to meet with best friend's bright hazel eyes staring into my hazel eyes. Her dirty blonde hair put in a messy bun, she was wearing her favorite turquoise pajamas with white polka dots on them.

"GoodMorning!!" She screamed loudly right in my face.

" Allison what the heck!" I yelled, pushing her from on top of me and covering my face with a pillow. If there is one thing Allison is known for is being really loud.

"Don't you dare go back to sleep" she warned me, " today is a special day, remember!" She added excidtedly.

"Yes I remember" I said with a sigh. Today we were performing on the X-Factor as celebrity guests. Yup me and Allison are on a band called The Cadets, we are pretty famous if you ask me, I don't like the word famous though so lets just call ourselves very popular, and the X-Factor is where it all started. Two years ago me and Allison decided to audition on the X-Factor, we thought we werent going to make it, but we did. We got in second place, and it was the best thing that ever happened to us. At first, in the auditioning day, I was regretting it thinking that we werent going to get through, but now i don't regret one bit. Fame hasn't changed us, we are still our crazy selfs, we are just doing what we love to do, sing.

  "Veronica come on we are going to be late!" Alison yelled at me as she got out of the bathroom. I stood up from the hotel bed and looked at the clock. She was right, we are going to be late.

"Shoot!" I said as I rushed over to my suitcase, grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom. I wore my light blue jeans with a frizy purple sleeveless shirt. I did my light brown hair into a bun and fixed my side bangs.

I came out of the bathroom to find Allison talking on the phone, it looked important. She was wearing dark blue jeans with a frizy turquoise sleeveless shirt. She had some light make up on and her hair was in a bun too, with her bangs. I walked over to my shoe suitcase and grabbed my purple and white Jordans that I got a few days ago. Allison was wearing her black and white Jordans she got the same day I got mine.

  " Ready to go?" Allison asked as i was putting on a bit of lip-gloss. I'm not a big fan of make-up so I dont wear it alot. The only make-up I wear is foundation, lip-gloss/lipstick, and sometimes mascara.

  "Yup" I said putting the lip gloss away, "who were you talking to?" I asked her.

  "It was Joshua" she said (Joshua is like another Paul), "he said that when we get to the X-Factor that we have to share a celebrity waiting room with the one and only... ONE DIRECTION!" she said that last part exidtedly. I squealed, "THE One Direction?!" I asked exidtedly back.

   "Yess!"

When One Direction became famous we were huge fans of them, we still are. When me and Allison made the X-Factor audition we kept joking about becoming famous just so we can meet the boys.

There was a knock on our door.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It's Joshua, are you girls ready to go?" He asked through the door.

"We'll be right there!" Allison said, grabbing her phone from the nightstand.

"Okay!" He said back.

I grabbed my purse and my phone from my nightstand and headed out the door.

When we where outside we saw a few fans waiting for us to go out. Since it was only a few we decided to take some pictures and sign autographs. After that we rushed to our tour bus to get to the X-Factor.

    When we arrived at the X-Factor there was like 40-50 girls and boys waiting for us to arrive. We couldnt take any pictures or sign autographs since we where running late, I felt bad. I love our fans, and it makes me sad thinking that they are sad or upset.

We went inside the backdoor and into the backstage area where we saw people with cameras and some walkie talkies and head pieces to talk with.

  "You must be The Cadets" a lady approaching us said smiling.

  "Yup we are" Allison said, she sounded nervous with a little bit of excitement.

  "Follow me I'll take you to your waiting room" she said nodding her head at the direction of the room. We arrived at the room and it was pretty big. It had a cemi-square brown sofa with a brown coffee table and a plasma T.V. which was playing the X-Factor, todays episode, of course.

   "I'm sure you guys heard One Direction are sharing the room with you guys, hopefully thats okay. If you need anything dont be afraid to ask and also there are some magazines over here and you can change the T.V. channel if you want" she said walking over to the door.

  "Thank you!" Me and Allison said at the same time.

  "No problem!" The lady said back and left.

  "So, what do we do now?" Allison asked, jumping on the sofa and grabbing a magazine.

  " I guess we wait" I said sitting on top of her and crushing her.

  "Ha, get of me!" She said trying to push me of her. I got off her laughing and sat next to her.

  "Soo..." she said flipping the pages from a magazine, "are you exited to see the boys?"

  "Ha, no I'm not" I said sarcastically, "of course I am, they are my inspiration for life" I said scrolling through twitter on my phone.

  "I know right, I bet when you see Niall you are going to jump on him amd make out!" Allison said laughing a little.

  "Ha ha, I bet you'll do the same with Harry or Louis" I said shoving her a bit.

   We kept talking about whatever came to our minds for about 10 minutes when we heard a knock on the door.

  "Come in!" Me and Allison said at the same time, "Jinx!" We giggled.

  In came the lady that took us here smiling the same way she was before, she must love her job. What we didnt notice is that right behind her where the most beautiful boys I have ever seen.

   "Hey girls, hope I didn't bother you guys, just wanted to tell you that the boys are here"

  We looked behind her to see the boys looking at us, as soon as we made eye contact we all smiled at eachother.

  "Hi!" I said to them.

  "Hi!" The boys said at the same time. Me and Allison giggled.

  "I'll leave you guys alone now" the lady said.

She walked out the door and the boys instantly turned into different people, in a good way. As soon as the door closed they ran to the other side of the couch and jumped on it. We all started laughing, the boys were trying to stand up but they were too weak because of laughing so much.

  "I love jumping on couches!" Allison said as the boys settled down.

  "Me too" Louis said smiling, "no matter where I am I always jump on the couch!"

  "It's true!" Harry said, smiling at Allison. She blushed and looked at me.

  "Well it's nice to meet you guys" I said excidtedly, "I'm Veronica and this is Allison." I looked at all the boys but one caught my eye, of course it was Niall. We made eye contact and he blushed, I blushed too.

  "So, The Cadets, it's nice to meet you guys toi" Liam said, trying to get Harry to stop poking him, "I'm Liam, tjats Louis, Harry, Zayn, and Niall!" He said pointing to each boy. Of course we knew already but we didnt say anything.
