Insecure

Chapter 2

Allison's P.O.V

   I looked at Harry and saw that he looked at me and whispered something in Louis ear. Louis' eyes went wide and he got a smile on his face. He then looked over at Niall and whispered something in Harry's ear, Harry nodded and looked back at me, he smiled.

 "so" I interrupted, " what song are you guys gonna sing?" I asked the boys.

 " We were thinking, either 'Story of My Life' or 'Steal My Girl'" Zayn said.

 " I think you should sing... 'Steal My Girl' " Veronica said looking at Niall. Hmmm interesting.

 "Yeah, me too" I agreed. Veronica has a crush on Niall!, I thought, even though I knew that already. 'Knock knock' we heard on the door.

 " The Cadets?" a man with a deep voice said.

 " Thats us!" I said, nervously.

 " It's time for you guys' performance" the man said, and he walked out.

"Ok" I said, "lets do this girl" i said to Veronica as we stood up. We did our good luck hand shake.

 "Wish us luck!" I said as me and Veronica walked to the door.

 "Good luck guys!" all the boys said at the same time, except for Niall, thats weird.

    The reason I'm nervous is because last time we where here, we where contestants not celebrity guests.

"You guys ready" Joshua said from behind us as we grabbed our microphones, Veronicas was Purple, mine is blue.

" Ready!" we said at the same time and walked towards our stage entrance area. I was thinking about the lyrics in my head when we hear the music start playing, I look at Veronica and smile, she smiles back and we both walk to the stage and Veronica starts singing. We are singing one of our new songs from our new album, 'Ready to Love', our album is called that too. It sounds like a cliche song but it is actually about family. I looked at the judges table and saw simon smiling at us. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't  be here right now. He might seem mean and judgemental, but he is the one who mentored us and gave us advice during the choice, he told us one day 'Never Give Up' those words meant so much to us and helped us so much that me and Veronica decided to tattoo it to our wrist.. After the X-Factor we went to a tattoo parlor a few days later and got Never Give up on our wrists and eachothers names on the side where the heart is, we thought it would be cute.

  When I sing I feel free, I feel like nothing can harm me, like I'm invinsible. It's the best feeling in the world. We where in the bridge part of the song when i looked over at Veronica and saw her making funny faces at the camera, nope still hasnt changed. I wanted to laugh but i couldnt obviously, so I looked away. I looked at the crowd and alot of people where singing along with us, it made me happy. I made eye contact with this girl and she mouthed 'You suck'. I dont listen to the haters, so i just looked away but it still made me upset thinking that some people can be so rude and disrespectful.

  Me and Veronica ended the song together with a fist-bump to the air and applause coming from the audience, even the judges where standing up clapping, I love satnding ovations, they make me feel proud of myself.

 "Thank you X-Factor for having us here today, it's an honor to be standing in this stage and sing for you guys with all our hearts like old times, we were once contestants here, and if we made it you can make it too. Thank you, we love you guys!" Veronica said waving one last time before we both left the stage.

 "That was awesome!" I said as I hugged and fist-bumped Veronica.

 "I know right!" she said hugging and fist-bumping me back.

 "Do you think the boys are waiting for us?" I asked Veronica.

 "They better be"

I lughed as we walked towards our waiting room. When we walked inside we saw the boys just running around chasing each other and shooting each other with... Nerf Guns? Where did they get Nerf Guns from?

 "Watch Out!" Zayn screamed but it was too late, I turned my head and Nerf bullet hit me right in the face.

 "Time Out!" Harry said as all the boys put the guns down and rushed over to me.

 "Are you okay Allison?" Harry asked with concern in his eyes.

 "I'm fine, I'm fine" I said chuckling.

 "You sure?" Niall asked, first time I heard him talk today.

 "I'm sure, thanks" I walked over to the couch with Veronica, we looked at each other and we thought the same thing. We walked over to the T.V. to make them think that we wer going to grab the remote but we actually grabbed Nerf Guns and started shooting the boys. They all ran to grab Nerf Guns while me and Veronica just kept shooting.

 "All man for himself!" Liam screamed.

 "And woman!" I added as I aimed for Harry.

 "Shoot!, I ran out of bullets" Veronica said as she ducked and grabbed a couch cushion to protect herself. She looked around trying to get more bullets when she saw one of the boys back packs filled  with them, 'thats how the Nerf Guns got here' I thought as I ran over to the back pack grabbed a few and hid behind the couch. Veronica was army crawling to the back pack, just for fun. When she got closer to it she ran face to face with Niall who was army crawling on the floor towards the back pack, this will be interesting.

Niall's P.O.V

  When the girls left to perform me and the boys started talking about them, in a good way. About how cool they seem and pretty they are. I may have a crush on Veronica but who wouldnt. She is beautiful, funny, sarcastic, has a big appetite like me. The reason I know this is because me and the boys have seen videos of interviews and concerts and they are just like me and the boys all mixed together.

 "So Niall has been awfully quiet today" Liam said, looking at me with knowing eyes. Liam knows that I fancy Veronica, in fact, I think all the boys know.

 "He is just shy 'cause Veronica is around, he loooves her!" Louis said making kissy faces while the boys laughed a little.

 "Shut Up!" I said  my cheeks turning red.

 "It's okay Nialler we wont tell Veronica anything, right Louis?" Zayn said, all the boys including me looked Louis.

 "Hey, I may be crazy sometimes but I'm not a bad friend!" he said, faking being offended. We chuckled and all turned to the T.V. when we heard 'The Cadets' being announced. I stared at the T.V. seing how happy Veronica and Allison looked performing. I smiled when I saw Veronica making funny faces at the camera, she can put the ugliest face ever and still look pretty. All of a sudden I feel something hit the back of my head. I turned around and saw Louis and Harry shooting each other with Nerf Guns. Nerf Guns!? What the Heck!? Where did they get Nerf Guns!? I see Zayn and Liam grabbing Nerf Guns and some bullets from Louis' back pack, of course, and shoot. I rush over to the back pack and grab one put some bullets in them and start shooting the boys. We where so caught up in this war that we didnt see the girls walk in. Zayn at Louis but he moves away, I hear Zayn scream "Watch Out!", I turn around and see the bullet hit Allison right in the face.

 "Time Out!" Harry screamed as me and the boys put our guns (Nerf Guns) down and rush over to see if she was okay.

 "You sure?" I asked after she said she was fine. She looked at me surprised, I think is because i havent talked to them since I first saw them.

 "I'm sure thanks" she said walking over to the T.V. with Veronica . What surprised me was that they both grabbed some Nerf Guns and started shooting us. Me and the boys  rushed to find cover and get Nerf Guns for ourselves. There are 7 Nerf Guns, one for each of us. I was about to shoot Allison but realized my gun had no bullets. I saw the back pack in the coffee table so I went to go get some. I decided to army crawl for fun and protection. When I was about to get to the coffee table I came face to face with Veronica, Oh God.
