One shall rise and one shall fall. That's how it always goes. That's how it needs to be. Right? The leader of the auto bots never showed his emotions like how the leader of the decepticons never hesitated in a fight. That's the way things have to be, how it always goes.Right?
Ruby red optics stared into the crystle blue ones. The two leaders in another battle. But this one is different. Both mechs aren't showing the fire that they are so renowned for. They are both slowing their actions that would bring harm to one another. If someone did not know them you would think they are tiring due to the battle. But it was something else entirely. The noble leader was in pain not physically but mentally. The warlord saw this pain. He knows what his opponent is thinking. To the war lord, looking into the leader’s eyes was like watching ghosts of the pasts. He saw the young Orion Pax and Megatronus. The two friends that were closer to being brothers.
This caused the great Megtron to hesitate in battle. Him doing this caused the Prime to let the hurt shine through with specs of crystals in his optics. They froze in the middle of the battle field. Neither moving nor knowing what to do. They seem to have a silent understanding at that moment. They were both tired of this war and missing one who they once called a brother. The sound of metal clashing together and grunts of pain from either side slowly disappeared as the soldiers found themselves staring at their leaders in confusion. The next words of the once gladiator had their jaws hit the floor.
“Decepticons surrender now! We are done with this useless fighting. This brings nothing but pain to both sides. It's not going anywhere.” He looked at his old friend with a sorrowful grin.
Putting his weapons away he turned to the other bots. Looking around at all of them. The red and blue optics the battle scars they both share was enough for the warlord to fall to his knees and let out a great cry that could only be the sound of great despair and regret. He felt a strong present behind him before he felt the great primes hand grabbing his arm and lifting him up. They both smiled at each other with relief that they understood each other once again.
“It appears old friend that we both rise and neither shall fall.”
