Sick Day

PART 4

This one is gonna be different but for me and Riley's own sides of the story, plus it's gonna be a bit short...

MY POV

I woke up with sunlight going directly at my face but I have a very sore throat that made me cough severely that woken Riley up from my coughing; he starts to worry while turning to me.

"You okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine, just got something stuck in my throat," I replied through my cough.
"Hmmm, you don't seem fine..." Riley puts his hand on my forehead and checks my temperature with a thermometer that read 90 degrees.

"Oh no, you're heating up!!! I'll go get something to cool you down, be right back..." Riley says while going to the kitchen getting an ice pack, runs back to our room and placed it on my forehead.

"There, that'll do the trick; just stay in bed for the whole day," Riley says.

"Okay," I nodded while slightly sitting up on my bed adjusting my pillow so my back lays on it in a comfortable position.

RILEY'S POV

I watched Ela laying on our bed; I was getting worried because I've never seen her sick before... on the plus side, I get to look after her.

"If you need anything, just ask," I said.
"Thanks," she says with a warm smile.

Ela's the best roommate I ever had in my life. She's like my best friend; although she had her first kiss with me when she has a difficult time falling asleep and tries not to stay awake for too long.

I love her with all my heart and I hope she feels the same way about me.

I'm always happy to have her living with me.
