Charlie's P.O.V.

A few weeks later, Vaggie started spamming the news station with letters. She was tired of watching me fail, I guess.
She was just about to go out and put the ninth letter in the mail, when a mail carrier knocked on the door and gave me an approval letter that had the 666 News official stamp on the front.

I ran eagerly to Vaggie and opened it in front of her, excitedly reading the contents aloud.

'"Charlotte Magne,
Due to the absence of Jeffery Marks on Monday, we have found a small period of time to fit you in for an interview. Please arrive at 12:30 Eastern Time on Tuesday this week. Please be prepared with your lines, and don't make a fool of our station or there will be consequences."'

I looked at Vaggie, who rolled her eyes.
"They could of had a little more respect, considering who they were writing to."

"It's fine, Vaggie. I'm just glad they're giving us a chance."

"Your dad isn't going to be very happy when he sees it," she said in response.

"Don't remind me," I said, remembering my father's disapproval at my plans.

Vaggie came and stood beside me, hooking her arm around my waist and smiling at me gently.
"Don't worry about what your Dad says. If you believe this will work, then go for it."

I smiled back.
"Thanks, Vaggie."

I kissed her gently, placing a hand on the side of her face. She kissed me back, tightening her grip around me.

I don't think I'll love anyone as much as I love Vaggie.
