Ninjago ( Riyas story )

chapter 1

Riyas pov:

I woke to the sun shinning in my face, I got up and rubbed my eyes. I got out of bed and got dressed in my fave black shirt and hoodie with some jeans and thigh high black boots. ( The picture above. ) I live with my dad in an apartment, he's not doing so well. You see he has stage three cancer and its draining him i feel like I'm going to loose him at any moment. Then a certain black figure was on my window ledge. " Hey riya" it said. I smirked and turned around." Oh hey cole whats up?" I asked. " nothing much i was comming back from a mission and decided to come and visit you." Cole said. I smiled and blushed " well you can come in if you want. I was about to go fix me and dad some breakfast." I said. He jumped down from the window ledge and followed me into the kitchen. I made some eggs and pancakes, i fixed cole and dad a plate. I handed cole his " thanks Riya!" Cole said and started to eat his pancakes. I then went to take my dad his food, his door was closed so I opened it. " Hey dad I made you--" when i looked into the room saw him, dead! I droped the plate of food and ran over to him. " dad ..... DAD! Please wake up" I said in between tears. " please..." I said and started to sob. I heard footsteps and cole was at my fathers doorway." RIYA WHAT HAPPENED I HEARD A CRASHING NOISE AND CAME FAST AS I----" he stoped mid sentence and looked down he walked over to me.
I started to cry." Riya...." He said and got down on knee level beside me. I looked at him and huged him. I cried into his shoulder, and we called 911 as soon as the ambulance got there they took my dad's body. I said goodbye one last time, atleast he died peacefully in his sleep.....

* a couple days later *

After a few days I moved in with Cole and the other ninja. They were helping me cope with the loss of my dad. " RIYA!" Nya said while running torwards me while I had my bags in my hand. She huged me and I hugged back. " oh I've missed you! I heard about your father, how have you been holding up?" Nya asked letting go of the hug. I stayed quiet, a lump came in my throat. I looked down at my wristsand they were covered up with my jacket. " u-um... Good...." I said nervously. The other ninja came out and helped me with my bags. " you'll be staying with me!" Nya said.  I smiled. " sweet!" I said excitedly. We went to her room and the boys put my stuff on my new bed in nyas room. " wow... " I said while I looked around the room. " this room is huge! Thank you for letting me stay here!" I said. The boys walked out to let me settle in nya was helping me unpack when I went to put my clothes in the closet and something fell out of it and I picked it up. " Hey nya whats this?" I asked. She looked up from what she was doing and her eyes widen she hurried torwards me and grabed the helmet out of my hands. " you can not tell anyone what I am going to tell you..." Nya said and stuffed the helmet back in her closet. " tell me what?" I asked." I'm... Samurai-X ..." Nya said. My jaw droped. " that is... So cool!!!" I said. " well i mean I couldn't help the ninja before so I decided to create samurai-x so that i can help them in battle. " nya explained. " c'mon let's Finnish unpacking your things and go eat dinner." Nya said. And we did we unpacked my things ate dinner and then me and nya stayed up late last night catching up.
