The Night Of The Comet

"Do I look like a good student?" Caroline asked as Luna walked over to her side. The blonde beauty looked at the older blonde wearing a dress, and said, "Depends on where you're going Care."

"The parent-teacher conference," Caroline stated. Luna cringed and said, "School just started back, though. And you're not a parent."

"They called and said they needed to talk to mom and I," Caroline said, making Luna raise an eyebrow at her, "Hair up or down?"

Caroline looked over at Luna, holding her hair up and Luna said, "Sexy cheerleader," Caroline dropped her hair, "Boozy Student."

"Up it is," Caroline said with a nod, "You're in a good mood today."

"I had a dream," Luna said with a smile. Caroline smiled at her and said, "And?"

"I think I know his name, and what appears to be his two brothers' names," Luna said smiling lightly at the ground. Caroline nodded excitingly and said, "And?!"

"His name is Noah and his brothers' names are Elijah and I think his other brothers' name is Niklaus," Luna said with a small blush.

"I'm so happy for you!" Caroline said placing her hand on her heart, smiling at her younger sister.

"There's something that feels so freaking real about those dreams," Luna stated, "I feel like I'm meant to see them..like I'm allowed to..I don't know it's confusing."

"That's interesting," Caroline said with a nod. Luna shrugged and said, "Where's mom?"

"She left early," Caroline sat down, "Something about work came up, but she's gonna come pick me up soon."

"Eh, I'll probably just stay home until I get bored and decide to leave." Luna said with a sigh.

"Well, I was talking to Grams, and she said the comet is a sign of impending doom," Bonnie said as she, Caroline, Elena and Luna sat outside the Grill, folding flyers for the Comet viewing party.

Luna sat in-between Caroline and Elena as Bonnie said, "The last time it passed over Mystic Falls, she said there was lots of death. So much blood and carnage, it created a bed of paranormal activity."

Caroline nodded and said, "Yeah, and then you poured Grams another shot and she told you about the aliens," Caroline looked at Elena, "So then what?"

"So then nothing," Elena stated. Caroline sighed and said, "You and Stefan talked all night? There was no sloppy first kiss or touchy-feely of any kind?"

"Nope, we didn't go there," Elena said. Luna smacked a hand to her forehead and said, "Not even a handshake?"

"Elena, we are your friends, okay? You are supposed to share the smut," Caroline stated. Elena shrugged and said, "We just talked for hours."

"Okay, what is with the blockage? Just jump his bones already!" Caroline said, making Luna laugh loudly, "Okay, it's easy. Boy likes girl, girl likes boy - sex."

"Profound," Elena said rolling her eyes as Luna said, "Should I say that to my dream bae?"

"Sex with a hot guy in your dreams sounds super fun," Caroline said wiggling her eyebrows. Luna laughed and Elena stood,
making everyone look over at her in confusion.

"Where are you going?" Bonnie asked Elena.
Elena grabbed her jacket and put it on, saying, "Caroline's right. It is easy. If I sit here long enough, I'll end up talking myself out of it instead of doing what I started the day saying I was going to do."
