By your Side (Undead Ban x Reader)

Chapter 19| King vs Dementor

Again, I won't write about everyone's fights but Y/n's. You can watch the other's fights in the series.

The other six (Rin, Yukio, Asah, Short, James and Terry) are just filler characters. I won't really write about their fights. Sorry.

Y/n's P.O.V

The first two pairs went. It was a short fight. This guy named Asah won against Shorty. Then a guy named Terry won against James. Matrona's battle against Griamore was super cool. She's great but the weird thing was that she was wearing the tavern's uniform. I had a hunch on who it was but that would be impossible. Unless they played with those mushrooms that shrunk everything around them when they get scared, then Matrona might really be Diane. 

Matrona and Griamore's battle finished with Matrona as the winner. Our eyes widened as her hat flew away and her face was revealed.

"Hey, that's-" Ban said looking closely.

"Am I- I dreaming?" King stuttered.

"I knew it! That's why your kicks looked familiar!" I said.

"Darn, I was hoping to stay hidden for a while." She said walking to us. She went in front of Meliodas with a smile. "The jig is up."

"Do I know you?" Meliodas asked. I held Ban's hand tighter as Diane punched Meliodas in the stomach and walked away.

"I'm done with you! You're such a jerk, Danchou." Diana walked away.

"Saw that coming." I whispered to my boyfriend. He nodded in agreement.

"You really are an idiot, Danchou." King said and followed Diane. Meliodas did the same. 

"Well, it's just you and me now, Y/n." Ban said seductively. I hit his head.

"We're in public, idiot." I said.

"That's not what I meant." He covered up. I raised my eyebrows. "Okay, maybe I was hinting a little." I raised my eyebrows higher. "Yeah, I really can't lie to you."

"Ban, I am Y/n. Your best friend for over 40 years and girlfriend for 15 years. I'm called Ban Detector for a reason." I said putting my arms around his neck. He put his hands on my waist. "You can't hide anything from me." Including how you still love Elaine.

"Yeah, I can."

"Try me." I challenged. "I already know your first question."

"Let's say it in 3, 2, 1"

"What's my favorite booze?" We said at the same time. "Anything with alcohol." We said again. The fight between Howzer against Tai-poo started. 

"We have to talk later, when we're done here." He said.

"I hope it's not about the 100 gold coins I stole from you thirty years ago." I mumbled.

"What?!" He said.

"I'm sorry?" I said. He gave me an unimpressed look. "I love you?"

"I love you too?" He asked, kissing me. I know you don't love me Ban but I'm going to enjoy this while I can. He pulled away. "But seriously, we need to talk."

"Okay, babe. Whatever you say." I smiled. I looked at the two and let's just say, the winner of this festival for three years, is about to be replaced. "It's my fight next. Let's go get the others." I said and we walked to the waiting room.

"Hey, King." Ban said, opening the door. We looked down to see King on the floor, on a pool of his own blood.

"What's the deal? He's dead?" I asked.
