Mael
Waking up, Mael gasped for air. He sat up one hand on his chest breathing deeply and the other clutching tightly on the blanket.
What the heck was that?! He shook his head off to fully wake his drowsy state. He glanced to right side and found out it was already 7 in the morning.
He immediately got up, gaze everything inside the room, calmed his trembling nerves and prepared for the day.
Living in a cozy and fancy dorm, everything is already served for him. He has a nice and spacious room. A queen size bed, classic compartment and drawers, walk-in closet, extravagant bathroom with large black bathtub and marbled flooring, comfy L-shape kitchen and a rectagular table enough to accommodate 6 people on each side, roof to floor glass window on the right side where the sun can be witness brightly rising from the east. What more could he expect? He already has everything in just a room.
Mael live at the most expensive and high-class university dorm around the city. And living in a grandiose dorm means a certain person has the power and influence. But, everything being serve in a golden platter is nothing when living alone.
It's been two days. The last day of RSO signing. Mael is still contemplating whether to pass the forms or not. One thing that make him second-thought is because in all honesty he have a lot of things in his hand as of right now but a part of him whisper saying he should join.
Already on the field, he searched for the guy who encourage him to join. What was his name again? I think I wrote it in the referrals.
His eyes caught the Supreme Student Council President slash Chemical Engineering Coursemate.
"Uhmm, Leah?" Mael muttered down his breath. Leah didn't noticed and continue scrolling down on her phone.
"We could have an auction for fund raising this coming Induction Ceremony." Leah blurted unconsciously.
Mael tickled the side of Leah making her jump in shock. "Ms. President?"
"What the fu—Mael you scared the shit outta me?!"
Leah stared at him with ludicrous face. Silently cursing this bastard.
"Uhmm. Sorry."
"Uhm..."
"What is it Liam Flynn?" She asked her voice loud and clear. Her right brow arched.
Liam tensed at her sudden change of tone. He silently showed her the filled-up forms. Leah stared intently in his eyes not noticing the paper Mael was waving.
"Oww, sorry I didn't notice." She apologized while taking the papers. "So what do we have here. Oh, this is a form for...the school paper, huh?"
She looked at him with something in the middle of puzzling and confusing state.
"When did you got interested to apply?"
Unsure of what to say Mael shrugged and muted. He gazed at the form as if his life depends on it.
"And who might be this person who refer you?"
Silence.
She studied the front page of the form without scanning the attached files on the back. "Rico? Rico-mambo man." She Smiled sensing trouble and excitement from just a piece of paper.
