created entirely by deadjamie

my eyes caught a glimpse
of the pretty girl in the shop
i swear i could feel my heart stop
and jaw drop.
who was this angel,
was this some joke?
is this a dream, if so don't poke.
her curly hair
seemed softer than the waves
of an ocean, deeper than caves
and her eyes.
god.
her eyes have me mesmerised.

i took a step and another
but then i stopped.
my legs were locked
the ground like glue.
oh no no no no no.
i just want a name
oh what a shame.

a night passed, then another
and a third and a fourth.
i was going back and forth
around the prettiest girl in north.
what was her name, was a
constant question in my brain
it was a drain
but i hoped for rain,
to wipe her away from my brain.
but it never did, even with a flood.
it stayed.
she stayed.
oh she with her beautiful body
gorgeous eyes and soft hair.

did she notice me like i did?
was it all a bad deed?
it wasn't even lust, it was need.
or was it maybe greed?
the thought of her with someone else
had me weak.
she had me weak
from the knees.
butterflies had never felt so real.

if i go back to the coffee store,
will i see her?
will she be there?
will she be there in the coffee shop
where i saw her?
god i panic, i wish she was there
i couldn't keep her out my head
so i just had to see where it lead
i wonder what she said
back then to the barista.
i wonder if her voice
is as silky as a field
with dandelions.
i wonder if she smells
like roses or daisies.

please, my lucky stars
and all fast cars
let me see her again
i can't forget her
i think about her
all day and night
she makes me feel like
it's gonna be all right.
she.
she.
she.
she.
around my head like a symphony.
