What Can Happen ~5SOS fanfiction~

||Chapter 5||

(*Sorry I havent updated in FOREVER! I havent had any inspiration to write ;(. My sister Jodi convinced me to write these net few chapters so thats what I'm gunna do! Im in southern Indiana right now and as most of you probably know, U.S.A IS GETTING A BUTT LOAD OF SNOW! I havent had school all week (its Thursday) and I dont have school tomorrow so I have LOTS OF TIME to write. But(t) anyways go ahead and go check out my sisters profile if you into Team Crafted and Merome, she has really good stories. I dont even really watch ALL of Team Crafted but I love her stories. After about an hour of crying, hugging, and filling out paper work, we were ready to go home. I was exausted! It had been a long day for me and I was ready to go to sleep. I didnt even care if they had a bed ready for me or not, I just wanted sleep. We all filed out of the police station and into Liz's car and headed far (not really) away from the police station and from the house I had called home for so many years.

While on the ride to the house, I was begining to get a migraine because (for some odd reason) the radio channel that Luke listens to decided to go on a 5 Second of Summer spree. SO basically what I'm getting at is the car ride was filled with Liz, Andrew, and Luke all screaming 5SOS lyrics, what fun right? But some how, SOME WAY, I managed to get comfortable wedging my stuffed animal in between the door and my head, and drifted to sleep.

*Lukes POV*

I was screaming along to Good Girls when I realized that Haley was asleep.

"Hey mom?" I asked Liz.

"Yea hun?"

"Can you turn the radio down, or off? Haley fell asleep, and I'm assuming this will be the best sleep she's had in a loooonngggg time," I replied, and she turned it down low.

I looked over at my little sister and brushed the hair out of her face. I got a better look at her. She had dark circles under her eyes along with bags. I wanted to know what had happened to her all these years. I wonder if she ever thought we would come to get her. I wonder what the man has said to her, did he abuse her? I sat back in my seat with lots of questions running through my head as we pulled up to our house. I knew I would ask her these questions, but not anytime soon, she had to get used to being with us again, feeling wanted and loved.

"Luke honey, can you wake Haley up?" Liz asked she unbuckled her seat belt and opened her door. Andrew follwed suit and all who was left was me and Haley.

I looked over at her and decided I would just carry her in. I get out and went to her side and opened the door. I picked her up bridal style she was very light! I carried her into the house and saw Liz and Andrew talking. I decided that since her old bed was probably waayyy too small for her now, that she could sleep in my room. I walked upstairs and opened my bedroom door. I pulled back my covers and sat her gently down on the bed. She graoned and rolled over. I covered her up and went to grab extra blankets and a pillow for myself so I could sleep on the couch.

I walked back downstairs and got the couch ready for me to sleep. But first, was starving. I walked into the kitchen and got me some leftover pizza from the night before. I heated it in the microwave and as I was walking out of the kitchen I ran into Liz.

"Oh hey mom!" I said as I walked around her and sat my food down on the coffee table.

"Hey Luke. Wheres Haley?" she asked

"Oh shes in my room. I carried her in and ut her in my bed."

"Well I think you should make a pallet on the floor, in case she wakes up at night, she isnt alone."

"Oh good point!" I said.

I went upstairs quietly and made up a pallet on my bedroom floor a couple feet away from my bed and fell fast asleep listening to the sweet sound of Nirvana.
