The next day~ 10:10am

All of us wake up and get ready for the day. We decide to leave Ike and Clarise at the trailer. The four of us sneak out to the car and start driving. We drive for a little bit longer and then pull over at a hotel.
"Hi how can I help you today?" The woman at the front desk asks. "Hi we need a room." Jackson says. "Okay would you like two beds or one?" The woman asks. "Let's do two please." Jackson replies. She nods and gives us our room key. We walk up the stairs to our room. 272. I open the door to see a small room with two beds. It's pretty clean but at the same time it's kind of creepy.
"Okay so we need to make a plan for tomorrow. The police are gonna be looking for us soon." I say. "We could stay here for maybe three days and then continue our way down to Mexico." Jack says. We all nod and get settled in. I climb onto the bed with Jackson while Lizzy and Bud are in the other bed. "We need someone to stay up and make sure Lizzy doesn't try to run away." Jack says. Lizzy looks at him and sticks her tongue out. "Or we could do it in shifts so we can all get some sleep." I say. Everyone nods and we all agree to stay awake at different times. First is Bud, then me, then Jackson.
Jackson, Lizzy, and I go to sleep while Bud stays awake. I'm awoken an hour later by Bud. I sit up and rub my eyes. I then nod at Bud and he goes back to his bed and falls asleep. I'm sitting in the bed staring at the wall in front of me while thinking. I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Jackson waking up. He sits up and looks over at me. I smile at him and say, "Hey Jack you can go back to sleep. My time isn't up yet." He just nods his head no and yawns. "It's okay I wanna stay up with you." He says.
We talk for a little bit and then suddenly he stops and looks into my eyes. "What what's wrong?" I ask. He doesn't say anything. He puts his hand on the back of my neck, and we lean in to kiss. The kiss was long and passionate. We only broke apart for air a couple of times. After a few minutes of kissing one thing led to another. Once we were done, I plopped down next to Jack, and he turned to face me.
"Goodnight Diana." He said to me, smiling. "Goodnight Jackson." I said, giving him a quick kiss. We soon fell asleep, not knowing what was waiting for us tomorrow.
