After an hour or two of driving, Ophelia decided that it'd be best to get some gas. They only just got up to New York, so they were getting farther and farther away from danger- if they were to ever get caught. Tatum, Michael, and Amethyst walked into the convenience store to get some snacks.

The TV was showing some sports with the Emergency Alert System suddenly interrupting it. Loud beeps were heard throughout and store, so they covered their ears while waiting for the alert to give a message.

"Looks like I won't be able to process y'all's purchases. Everyone in here, take all y'all need. It'll be restocked once this whole mess is over," said the clerk is a raspy voice noticing the check-out system glitch.

The three grabbed all the snacks they could and ran outside to the van to hear the clerk saying to have a nice day.

"What the fuck happened now?" asked Ophelia as she finished filling up the van with gas.

"Computer viruses and stuff thanks to the Emergency Alert System," responded Michael as he went into the backseats of the van, "What are we gonna do with the body anyway?"

"There's a meadow a few miles down we can bury her in. We just need to find a shovel."

"Alrighty. Will we go to Canada or what?"

"It depends on how tired I am and if anyone else is willing to drive from Maine into Canada. It all depends."

        "Okay, I was just wondering."

"We might not end up going to fucking Canada. Who knows? My ass doesn't."

Ophelia got into the driver's seat and she waited impatiently for Amethyst and Tatum to get back in, and she immediately drove away from the gas station once they had gotten themselves in and once they had buckled their seatbelt on.

"When we are going to near the part where we all sit in a circle and either hold hands and sing kumbaya or have someone strum a guitar string singing 'Wonderwall'?" Tatum wondered as she looked out of the window only for Ophelia to slam the brakes at the meadow with Jerrica's body getting near her. "She's looking at me!"

"Tatum, she's bound to look somewhere. She's DEAD!" said Michael as he got out some gum and began to chew it.

Ophelia got out of the driver's seat and opened up the back of the car and got out Jerrica's dead body. The deceased smell had gotten stronger since they had discovered her body in the forest.

"Does anyone have some sort of shovel I could use?" asked Ophelia. "My ass ain't gonna dig shit up like a dog."

"I think there's one to your left," replied Tatum to her.

Ophelia grabbed the shovel and began digging until she felt as though it was deep enough to bury her. Once it was at a satisfactory level of deepness, Ophelia had Tatum and Michael help her put her body in. Once they all said their goodbyes, excluding Amethyst due to being a complete stranger, Ophelia began putting the dirt she had dug out on top of Jerrica's body and decided to might as well take the shovel in case it needed to be used. They all went back into the van and resumed their journey once again.

"I predict that Tatum will die next since Jerrica was the first out and the first to die," commented Ophelia as she tucked her golden blonde hair behind her ears.

"Ophelia, we're NOT in the Final Destination series, so don't assume shit. I'll laugh if you're the next one to end up dead," replied Tatum rolling her eyes.

"Wait until I laugh at your goddamn funeral."

"Just shut the fuck up and get us to Maine as soon as your ass can."

        "Whatever."

An hour later, the car broke down and stopped in the middle of the road. Frustrated, Ophelia got out of the van and began to kick it while the others decided to might as well take a break from all that sitting at watched.

"Now, we're back to this situation. Any ideas?" said Michael all upset.

"Y-y-you could t-try to get a b-b-bus to drive," Amethyst whispered as she watched Ophelia.

"Excellent. Let's go find a bus to steal since we stole the two vehicles we were previously in."

"Why must we always resort to stealing?" asked Tatum.

"Your ass didn't fucking mind stealing shit at the 7/11 by Hagerstown," pointed out Ophelia as she stopped kicking the van and grabbed a bag of Goldfish crackers from the back. "Our asses will constantly end up in this situation until we fucking die."

"Lest we forget today," Michael blurted out recollecting about them finding out that Jerrica's dead along with crashing the van.

The four began to make their way along the street after grabbing some food to snack on and try to find some suitable shelter for the night.
