Michael stared out of the window of the convenience at the gas station hearing the thunder booming in the distance; the sky appeared dangerous, rain began to pitter-patter, and the lightning created a show of bright lights. There was no chance of them leaving in the morning unless they were basically wishing to be struck dead in the thunderstorm. He felt anxious trying to wait for the weather to clear up; he had an irrational hatred of sleeping in the convenience store bathrooms for a long period of time. One could not blame him as nobody would want to be stuck sleeping on a bathroom floor.

Aaron walked up to him and gave Michael a look.

"Is there anything wrong?" Aaron asked Michael.

"Yeah, it's storming out, and I want to get out of this store," replied Michael not exchanging a look back.

"Oh come on, after a storm comes a rainbow, and maybe you could find a rainbow with a pot 'o gold at the end."

            "That's all fairytales."

"At this point, we're all going to need to find some positivity. Life's too short to be such a negative Nancy."

"That's true, but how will I? There's too much horrible shit going on in the world that it's pretty hopeless at this point."

Aaron went and decided to give Michael a small hug.

"Fuck thunderstorms," Michael said to himself.

Ophelia was getting out some booze from one of the convenience store aisles.

"Does anyone want to drink? Personally, I like to do some drinking games, especially in a storm like this," Ophelia commented raising an eyebrow.

"Are you sure that this is the best thing to do in a time like this?" Tatum wondered questioning Ophelia's antics.

"Fuck yeah. What's the worst that could possibly happen? One of us gets alcohol poisoning and dies?"

Rolling her eyes, Tatum decided to might as well go with the flow. She desperately needed a break. Besides, she needed a bit of fun in her life.

Ophelia went and found some glasses and made a circle and started to fill them up with the tequila that was sitting in one of the fridges.

"All right, jackasses, gather in a goddamn circle!" yelled Ophelia giving a grin.

The others all gathered making an oval.

"That's an oval; it has to be a circle!" Ophelia screeched.

They went and tried to not fuck up on making a circle.

"That's better!" Ophelia shrieked giving a nod of approval. "The rules of the game are that whenever you hear thunder you take a shot. If you see lightning, you take two shots. Ready, set, go!"

Thunder began to roar in the distance and they all took a shot except for Amethyst who decided to try to find some candy to munch on.

"What kind of drink is this?" asked Michael to Ophelia as she began to refill the glasses.

            "Tequila," answered Ophelia.

"You do know that tequila will probably cause all of us to take our clothes off, right?"

"You know that I don't give a shit."
