Still flashback:
"Good...bye my...little...ice queen." After my grandfather said those words both of his hands let go of my hands, both hands fell to his side of his body. And at that moment I new that my grandfather is no longer alive.
" Gradnpa? Grandpa!" I started to shake him, but nothing happened. " Noooo! Grandpa please wake up, please! Why. Why do you have to leave me." I whispered the last part, still crying. Some nurses came in, when they saw me their facial expression turned into a sad expression.
Along with the nurses, came two guards. They took me out of the room, they both said that they were sorry about what happened, and left.
I was now looking at the closed doors, still crying, until Claire spoke up. " Oh gosh May stop crying, its so annoying!" I turned around to look at Claire who was looking really annoyed. But I didn't stop crying. Claire sighed in frustration. " I'm serious, stop it! Look why don't you cry a river, build a bridge, and get over it. You see what I just did there", Claire laughed. How can she be happy at a time like this? "Claire how can you be happy?! Our grandfather just DIED! He loved us and your just happy that he died. Why? Why are you happy?" " Loved us? LOVED US?! He only loved you and only you. Ever since he came back to the castle with you in his arms, he forgot all about me!" She said every last word with venom. " I can't believe that he would ever love a monster like you. Besides since that old man is dead one of us will be crowned as Queen. It will obviously be me, because like I said no one, and I mean no one would want a monster for a Queen. Even grandpa knew that."
What she said made my hair turn from blue to white, I was now furious. ( HEY REMEMBER WHEN I SAID THAT WHENEVER MAY'S MOOD CHAGES SO DOES HER HAIR. WELL SINCE SHE IS NOW MAD HER HAIR CHANGED TO WHITE.) " How dare you say that! You don't know if it's true that he actually said that!" I said while trying to fight back the ice that was begging to come out. " Oh cousin, poor, poor, cousin. Grandpa didn't have to say anything, but you could see it in his eyes every time he saw you. You are nothing special, all you are is a Monster, Freak that should have never been here in the first place!" I shouldn't have let her words get to me, but it was to late. I ran as fast as I can, I just needed to go some where away from the castle.
As I was walking I noticed that I was leaving a trail of ice, and now my hair is blue and white. Ok that's just weird. Well I just kept walking until I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw Mike, my grandfathers guardian. Or was my grandfathers guardian. Look you might be confused so let me just explain.
He is like a solider in a way, but he is more like a personal guard. What I mean is that where ever my grandfather goes, Mike goes. So like when ever he goes out of town Mike has to go with him, just so Mike can keep him safe. ( JUST SO YOU KNOW IM NOT A REALLY GOOD EXPLAINER AS YOU CAN SEE, BUT PLEASE TRY TO GO ALONG WITH IT ANYWAYS)
Mike had a sad smile on his face, and I could tell that he was just as sad as me. He noticed my hair and the trail of ice that was behind me, he finally spoke and said, " Its ok May, now we all know that he can finally rest now". "I nodded my head, not in the mood to speak. He understood and hugged me. Right when Mike went around me I saw James (Mikes son). Oh James just by saying his name makes me some what happy. And yes I do like him, seriously how can a girl not like him he's soooo handsome! I'm pretty sure that he knows that I like him, heck I bet a lot of people know that I like him. Does he care? No. He probably thinks that I'm a monster and a freak. Ugh just saying those words makes me mad again. I'm serious though because whenever he sees me he either has a blank face, or sometimes even a disgusted look on his face too. All he did was role his eyes at me and walk past me. Jerk.
I just stood there clenching and unclenching my hands. 'What did I ever do to them'? I just need to go somewhere that can clear my thoughts.
So I ran. I went out to the garden, I kept going until got to the forest. I went in a little bit more. Right when I knew that I was clear I fell to the ground crying. My hands were on my face as tears streamed down my face.
"Why? Why did you have to leave?" "Grandpa, GRANDPA!!!" "Why? Why, why, why." "Why?" I hit my fist on the ground, and as I did that ice flew out in everywhere. The ice froze all the trees that were around me. I let out a ear piercing scream that broke all of the trees that were frozen into millions of pieces.
"Why?"
Flash back over:
(HEY GUYS. SO DID U LIKE IT? I KNOW IT WASNT THAT GOOD BUT AT LEAST I TRYED MY BEST, RIGHT? ANYWHO, THATS IT FOR TODAY. I WILL BE WRITING MORE CHAPTERS LATER ON, OK. WELL SMELL U LATER! ;)
