"Lucas!! How you've been?" I said as I attack him with a hug, we let go after then he said, "I'm fine, still handsome as ever."

I laughed, "Still cocky as ever huh?"

Lucas, my childhood friend and my first love. Ever since he fell from the tree when we we're five, I thought meeting him that time was fate. But after 8 years, he had to leave for his father abroad.

And now 5 years later, he's back!! I am so happy to see him! He looked so handsome despite for being cute ten years ago.

"Oh! I have to share something very important," Lucas said.

"What is it?" I tilted my head. It's weird for Lucas to share something more important than himself.

"I have a girlfriend!" He said, my heart sank like an anchor, "O-oh..." Was all I could utter.

"Who... What was she like...?" I said lowly.

"She's great, she's so..." He went on and on about that beautiful girlfriend of his. I didn't listen to him very carefully, I don't want to hear it. When I heard that he is coming back, I decided to confess to him. Yes, for these ten whole years he's the only one. I rejected more than ten boys who confessed to me just for him. I thought our feelings were mutual but it's just my thought. Then there he is looking all in love with this girl he met abroad.

Thankfully, my phone suddenly rings interrupting Lucas. I immediately took my phone and saw the name 'Ijekiel' on the screen.

"Sorry... Can I?" I said, apologetically.

"Oh, go ahead..." He said, I answer the call heading towards the kitchen. Oh! I forgot... We're in my house right now and we were just talking in the living room earlier and now I'm in the kitchen, "Hello... Kiel? What's up?"

"Well... I forgot to bring back your notes... I was wondering if I can go to your house to bring it back to you..." He said.

"Why are you so nervous for as if you haven't been into my house..." I laughed, then continued, "And sure, thank you in advance.."

"I'll be there in a jiffy! Bye," He said then hang up.

I chuckled and turn back to the living room where Lucas is, but as I turned, I saw a pair of crimson eyes looking in mine.

"W-what... How... Wha..." I stuttered not knowing what to say. He's so close right now!

"Who's that?" He said curiously, glaring at my phone.

Uhhh.... Did my phone do something bad?

I sighed and pushed his face away, "My classmate, he's just coming here to bring back my notes." He narrowed his eyes at me then, walk back to the living room.

What's with him?

Five minutes or so, the bell rings from the outside, I walk out of the house and saw Kiel at the gate.

"You really came here faster than I expected," I said.

"I won't go back on my word," He smiled at me then handed out the notes he borrowed.

"Thanks.. Oh! I've been making something, if you would like.." I offered.

"Well... It can't be helped.." He said, scratching his nape.

We walked in to the house, then headed towards the kitchen, "It's not yet cooked so..." I said.

He chuckled as took his seat, leaning on the table, "I can wait, by the way is your parents out?" He asked.
