As we sit at the table eating a bunch of different food we talk about what Sterling and I had missed. I missed them so much. I missed everything. I was so excited to get back to riding, it helped me before and I was hoping it would help me now. God knows I need it. Even if I didn't want to admit it.
Sterling taps my shoulder and I look up " yeah?" I ask and she smiles softly " are you okay Val?" She asks and I nod smiling back " yeah, I just missed this. I'm so glad we made it out. Together. Always" I reply quietly and she smiles grabbing my hand " me too, I couldn't imagine being here without you Val. I love you" she replies and I smile " I love you too Ling" I reply and squeeze her hand.
We both turn our attention back to the girls and continue talking about what we had missed.
——— We get back to the house and walk inside laughing and talking, it was late so we try to stay quiet.
As we all go into my room we sit on my bed and continue talking about everything.
——— I wake up to my alarm and yawn sitting up, since I was going to the barn the girls slept in Devs room and one of the guest rooms. I didn't wanna wake them. I was so excited to see Deva and ride today.
Getting out of my bed I walk to my closet and grab clothes.

I finish getting ready and slip on vans grabbing my phone and bag.
Heading out of my room I turn my light off and head downstairs. It wasn't that early so I knew Zeus was up, I also heard him and his friends get up this morning. I walk into the living room and see them all sitting on the couch, Zeus looks up and smiles " Good morning Val, you're up early" he says and I smile " morning z, Yeah I'm excited to go ride deva, I've missed it. Would you mind bringing me? I'm sorry I didn't ask earlier I forgot" I ask and he nods smiling " yeah of course Val, let's go" he says and stands up turning to the guys " I'll be back in 10" he says and they nod as he walks over to me hugging me from the side as we walk.
——— Getting out of his car I thank him and head over to the barn excitedly, I knew it wasn't going to be a good ride in the sense of looking good but I didn't care. Being with deva was one of the things I had missed more than anything.
Putting all my stuff on my tack box I head to the turnout.
I see deva and raise my eyebrow when I see some girl petting her holding her halter and lead rope.
Opening the gate I head over to them, as deva sees me she neighs and trots over to me, I smile widely and hug her " Good morning love, I missed you. Are you ready for a ride?" I ask happily and she neighs. I back up and look over to the girl who was staring at me " who are you?" She asks and I raise my eyebrow " uh I'm Valentina, her owner" I answer confused. Who was she? She rolls her eyes and walks over to me " funny. I've never seen you here. And I've been here for like 2 years." She states and I look down " uh yeah I had something going on for a bit. But I'm back, sorry but may I have her halter?" I ask and she scoffs " something going on? So you just never go to your barn to see your horse because you have something going on?" She says sounding bitchy. I hold back from being a bitch and sigh " it's personal and frankly none of your concern. I take care of my horse very well, and she's my horse. So please give me her halter so I can go" I reply trying my best to be nice and hold it together. She rolls her eyes " whatever bitch, you don't deserve a horse. Especially her" she says and throws it on the ground walking off. Deva nudges me and I smile " it's okay girl, come on let's go ride" I say quietly and pick up the halter slipping it on her.
