I slowly get up from the floor to see that the other new girl was ok. I didn't care if I had cuts and bruises all over me, I just wanted to make sure that she was ok. I've been in the same situation more than once so I knew how she felt.
It turns out she had cuts and bruises all over her but it wasn't just from that. When we were taken to the nurses office to get checked out the nurse had her take her coat and things off so she could check her...that's when I saw them.
