I understand that reading rules is like pulling teeth for some people, but if you're going to get accepted and roleplay you have to know my limits and boundaries. I'm probably going to put a password in these rules to make sure that people read them.
1. Absolutely no smut. I will give you one warning before I stop replying. I'm perfectly fine with anything that has to do with gore, blood, and other things like that.
2. My preferred style of roleplay is third-person semi-literate. For me, this means more than one line or three word replies. I tend to be very descriptive in certain situations, but it's very hard to do when I don't have much to work with.
Example of what I mean:
The bright lights of the Lantern District were mesmerizing under the dark night sky. Despite it being so late, many of the businesses were still open. While they weren't buzzing with the same activity they had earlier today, people came in and out at a steady pace. Looking down from a high up vantage point, a figure saw someone fighting off D.U.P. enforcement. Eager to get in on the action, the figure made their way down to the ground.
3. As a perfectionist, I tend to be a little late with replies sometimes. If I don't immediately respond, just be a little patient. Know that I check for replies often in an rp and that I have sucky notifications. I would say an average of 15 to 30 minutes, but it could vary depending on the situation.
4. Don't be afraid to tell me if you need to go do something else for a while. I certainly won't be afraid to tell you the same, and it shows me that you aren't gonna just disappear into the void. If you don't exactly know what to reply yourself or it looks like I've disappeared for a while, then let me know. Wattpad eats comments sometimes, and can be glitchy and slow at best.
5. For now, this rp is just gonna be between me and anyone who signs up. In the future I might be able to handle the supervision of a group rp, but not in the near future.
6. No Godlike characters. While a character can be incredibly good at fighting or convincing, there still has to be at least one thing that they aren't good at. Sometimes their skills might not be effective in certain scenarios. I do have an allowance for creative improvisation, don't test your luck.
7. If you're in a fight with someone (in character, of course) you might not always be able to land hits or dodge attacks. I'm also allowing creative tactics in this as well, mainly just to give more options. The fight length will also depend on how powerful or capable your opponent is. Human citizens are the easiest to take down, with the next toughest being thugs or law enforcement, and the next level being Conduits or Bio-Terrorists, and the final level being the main bosses (that I know of. I don't know much about the DLC).
8. As previously mentioned, in character fights are okay. Out of character fights aren't tolerated.
9. The password is your favorite character from the Infamous series.
10. I'm deciding to include a new option in the Forms chapter. It's something akin to the expected 'Crush' or 'Love Interest' section, but something I'm more comfortable doing. It'll help me get used to playing characters for others (Something I've always been avoiding because I'm afraid my portrayal of said character) and I might be a bit more willing to participate in other roleplays if I'm able to do that. It will be optional still, but available.
11. I don't know what else to include here, but something tells me I'll find out something.
