CHAPTER 01: Kuch kam roshan hai...

SIX YEAR LATER

G.K. CONSTRUCTION, DELHI - 10:30 AM

Important meeting was going on in conference room with important and senior stuff of G.K. construction about a joint venture with a reputed international company as Epsitha speaking in her strict voice: "So AKR Corp. wants to open their branch in India and working with them on this joint venture would be very beneficial for our company in international market. They are best international company and this is their first project in India while we are India's no. 1 company already and as to get in international this venture is golden opportunity. So what you guys say?" as all nod in agreement since it's very profiting opportunity and she continues, "So the AKR representatives are coming to India after two days and since they don't have any office here in India, they'll initially be working from G.K. Constructions temporarily while working on the project they'll set-up their office here after which they'll shift there. So, after two days two of representatives would be arriving and they'll start the initial work of the venture and after few days other team members would join and the project would be on floors in full mode. So, I want you all to co-operate, if you have any personal differences or problems keep them to yourself but nothing should mess this deal up. Do I make myself clear?" asking them sternly.

All respond together: "Yes ma'am" like obedient children.

Epsitha sternly informs: "Very well, they'll arrive day after tomorrow 11:00 AM and everyone should be present to receive them. That's all about it, now everyone back to work." dismissing them back to their work.

As everyone got up leaving the conference room to get back to work and last remain persons were Epsitha and Kunal as they last person exited leaving them behind. As the door closed, she signed heavily making Kunal look at her: "Tum theek ho Epsitha?" asking concernedly.

She nodded weakly saying: "Yeah, just stressed a bit about what is going to happen after two days... Sab kaise react karenge Kunal...? Do you think we should have told them, so that they'll be better prepared...?" expressing her doubts.

Kunal went up to her, puts a hand on her shoulder assuring replied: "Don't worry it will be fine and they said it's got to be totally professional. Whatever past issues are there they won't be a issue in professional front as they said and anyways they have moved on for good, so quit worrying." trying to assure her.

Epsitha concerned said: "I know they said it's got to be professional but that's from their side... What about others...? You very well know how things are here Kunal, pata nahi kya hoga. I know they have moved on for good but how would others take it...? I don't think they'll take in a very good way and I can't stop worrying." they shared a look knowing it was true and they hoped it would turn disastrous event but for now there was nothing that they could do. So, for now putting it all in back of mind they both went back to their work.
