Wild Warriors: The new journey begins

Chapter 10 The end is near part 1

We walk deep through a forest that looks like it's been burned down. Star says that Creeper was the one that's responsible for most of the destruction. Incisor stops and stares at a dark storm that hovers above a castle.

"This is as far as I can go." he says pointing at the dark storm. "I wish you good luck and let the Dragon gods be with you." then he walks away.

"So," I say ruining the silent moment. "I hope the plan isn't to barge in here and ask what we want."

"Something like that." Cheero replies. "But with brute force."

"Something tells me you want something else. Like a challenge maybe." Star says crossing her arms giving me a threatening look.

"That's out of my concerns for now. But now I'm focusing of how the hell we're going in and out like it's going to be a happy ending." not that I believe in happy endings. There's always a catch for happy endings.

"Well let's see how it goes." Cheero says marching forward. Then we follow the so called leader.

"Halt, who goes there!" someone says when we reached the gate. We look up and spot the same man in a cloak, Dillon. "What brings you strangers here?" He asks.

"You have a friend of ours. He wears purple armor, and we're hoping to get him back with no problems." Cheero says with a polite tone.

"I know who you're talking about," he replies. "He's right in here. You can have him but." he pauses. "To have him, I want him." he points at me. "Now Taylor!" he yells and a black dragon rises from the ground and swallows me. I hear Alex yelling my name as I'm sent flying away, separated from my friends. A few seconds later the dragon spits me out of its mouth landing on the roof of the castle.

"So, you're the one with great darkness inside you." a dark voice says from behind me. I turn around and spot a knight with a black dragon armor. He let's out his dark aura and I stiffened when it reached me. "So are you going to let it out or shall I?" I know what he wants from me but he's not going to get it. Long pause, I don't say anything but just let him speak. "You have so much dark power inside you. Let it out, join us and fight beside me. We're on the winning side. We can officially destroy all of Pandora."

"Shut up." I interrupted him. "You're getting annoying." I growl.

"You have no idea that you're on the losing side. I'm giving you a easy offer." He continues before I interrupted him again.

"I said shut up. You can take that offer and stick it up your ass." I yell.

"Offensive words. Too bad, I won't feel bad killing you."

I decided to make the foolish decision to let out the extent of my madness. I don't know how powerful he is. So I have to keep my ground no matter what. I bonded my madness with my crow spirit and unleashed it creating a darker aura, with streaks of red which is new. He summons his own spirit and it rises above him ready to attack. The sound of thunder spreads across the roof of the castle. "I can now tell this is going to be a challenge." i laugh at the thought.

I punch through the gate in order to save Colin and Abraham as quick as possible. This place personally gives me the creeps but I don't want to show it. We're seconds away from entering the castle and there's already problems. Purple smoke forms in the middle of a huge room and I feared the worse. Abraham walks through the smoke cracking his neck, cane resting on his shoulder.

"Abraham! you escaped." I giggled scratching the back of my neck. "Now all we need to do is save a good friend of ours that's stuck on the roof. Don't ask, long story. We'll tell ya when we get home." I was going to keep talking but I've noticed he hasn't replied. He just stood there staring at us. Star runs up to hug him. I tried to reach for her but she's far out of reach. When she got close enough, Abraham jumped up and was about to sink his sword into her shoulder. Star immediately reacted on time.

"Black out!"
Time slowed down for a few seconds for her to move out the way of Abraham's attack. When time went back to normal, Abraham landed hard on the ground like gravity had a good pull on him. I used up half of my energy to melt the ground under him. When he sunk in I immediately harden the ground so he doesn't get back up.

"Kay and Alex, go up and find Colin and meet us at the front."

"Got it." They both reply and runs pass Abraham, up the spiral staircase they go.

"What's up." I say to Star

"I think he's under some kind of mind control. I think I can break it if he doesn't break lose." She says walking slowly to Abraham.

This castle is big as hell. We ran up three floors and now we're on the fourth floor, running through a red hallway ready to reach the fifth floor. All is well so far until Dillon walks in front of us blocking our exit.

"Would you like a drink." he says politely holding a bottle of wine.

"I would like to get through if you don't mind." I growl.

"I believe I can't let that happen. Your friend really has a very special power that cannot go to waste. You and your pals are just in his way."

"I don't care for your petty talk. You're wasting my time. Get out of my way or else." I say transforming into my knight armor.

"Oh so it's like that." He says transforming into his own knight armor.

I aimed my arrow, Alex aims her guns. I can tell things will get ugly.

Will Colin defeat the onyx knight. Will Star be able to save Abraham from the mind control. Can Kay and Alex save Colin on time. Will I have the money to go Christmas shopping. Find out on the next chapter of WILD WARRIORS.
