Chapter 17 Abraham

I wake up to see Abraham staring at me. I instantly remember why I've been knocked out. "What the hell was that for you jerk!" I got up ripping my mask off my face and growled at him.

He tilted his head and smiled. "It was a bug, sorry if i punched you so hard."

"Really a bug, I've nevered seen one ever since i walked on Pandora."

"Then you never looked hard enough." He got up and gave me his hand. I took it so he could lift me up.

"So where's D-D?" I said looking around.

"He left, i sent him somewhere so he could heal himself."

"Will he be okay?" I asked worried about a guy i just met.

"Hopefully he'll be okay. That wound isn't that bad. Possibly he could stay mortal."

"Well thanks for the save." I took off my glove and ripped the other sleeve. I look at my other arm to see it's fully healed. I wonder if i have healing factor, it would be awesome if i did.

"Good it disappeared." Abraham whispers staring at my forehead.

"Okay what!" I got irritated. "Is there something on my head or what!"

Abraham stares at me like he doesn't know me. Then he shakes his head back to reality. "Oh it's nothing important. Come, i have a new mission for you."

We say our goodbyes to the villagers. We meet up with Zay up at the front.

"I'm dearly sorry for what happened," he says. "I hope you come back soon."

"We will," Abraham responds. "I'm hoping you're with us with our plan."

"Yes of course. Anything to bring back the way Pandora was." Zay reaches his hand out to me. I politely take it in response. "I'm expecting you to come back too crow warrior. Maybe for one of our ten year tournaments." He winks.

"The next time you see me, things will be different. You can tell Lars that too, i want a rematch." I smirk.

"Great I need a new chain knife." I complain walking down the huge stairs of the lightning village. "Think i can get a new one?" I ask Abraham.

Abraham looks back and stares at the chain I'm holding. "You can visit a blacksmith but they're hard to find right now. So for now, you might need to use it as weapon. Not enough damage but it'll do."

I nod in response and wrap the chain around my waist. "Hey can i ask you something."

He looks back with one eyebrow raised. "Yeah sure." He shrugs.

"Why does it seem like you're feared by others?"

Abraham stops for a few seconds and laughs a little. Then he continues his walk. "It's not like I'm feared by others, it's just I'm well known around Pandora. I hope you know about me having the eye of medusa."

"Yes i heard about it." i remember D-D mentioning how he feared seeing him.

"Well those are one of that reasons they fear me," Abraham continued. "If it has something to do with people hating me, that means i killed lots of my fellow knights years ago.

I look at him confused at that thought of him being that kind of person. Who was he back then. And what did he mean years ago, how many has he killed.

"First don't let age fool ya," he looks back at me. He can see the confusion in my eyes. "Pandora works differently here. You can choose to stay the same age or continue. I'm 26 years old with a seventeen year old appearance."
