Types and Characters

River/Water elves are shorter than most other elves, with petite frames and features. They are great swimmers, and can hold their breath underwater for longer than most. River/Water elves prefer light weapons such as scimitars, daggers, spears or even nets. River/Water elves tend to have white or blonde hair with blue, blue-grey, teal or green eyes. Their skin is usually fair and sensitive. River/Water elves are quiet, wise and calculating. They prefer to think out all possible solutions, and weigh the effects of each, before acting. River/water elves do not fear confrontation, but would rather talk things out than fight. They believe in their wisdom, which can often make them seem stubborn or stuck-up.Wood elves are lithe and wiry-framed with powerful arms and legs. They are adept at traveling in the treetops, and prefer ranged weapons such as Bows, spears, knives or crossbows.
Wood elves tend to have brown or dark hair and tan or pale skin that is tough. They usually have calloused hands. They commonly have green, hazel or brown eyes.
Wood elves are quick-witted and clever, using the shadows and foliage to hide and observe. These elves are very perceptive and usually would rather hide than fight. They are also known for their craftiness and traps.Dark elves are in the middle, as far as height goes. They tend to be slightly stockier, while still having that limber elven form. They are the masters of stealth, but are also proficient in observing and judging character. Dark elves tend to prefer concealable weapons such as small crossbows, daggers, short swords, darts, throwing stars and poisons.
Dark elves' skin and hair ranges from ash grey to deep coal black. They can also have white or silver hair, and their eyes are yellow, red, orange or purple.
Dark elves are sly, cunning and great at reading people. They can be very charismatic but often don't trust easily. They tend to be solitary, but will respect and admire others who earn their trust.Fire/Sun elves are taller than other elves, with muscular, toned bodies. They have lots of stamina and are very athletic. Fire/Sun elves prefer larger melee weapons such as swords, staffs, axes, and halberds.
Fire/Sun elves tend to have auburn, strawberry blonde, ginger or chestnut colored hair and tan or olive skin. Their skin is resistant to intense sun or heat.
Sun/Fire elves are temperamental, passionate and valiant. They can switch between moods very fast, and are easily worked up, but cool down quickly. Fire elves are loyal to a fault and determined. They aren't afraid to speak their mind nor defend themselves or their allies.
