Birthday: Part-1

I woke up to the sound of my alarm buzzing off.When I opened my phone to snooze it,the reminder took my sleep away.
"Y/N's birthday."
The day that I dread and love at the same time.
After my session of zooming out,I suddenly get a text from Appa.
Appa:Yoongi I would appreciate if you came today .
Yoongi:where? Home?
Appa:yeah.
Yoongi:But why now?
Appa: Don't question it.Just...come.
I kept my phone on the nightstand table where the photoframe constantly seemed to attack my heart and I knew exactly why.
Today was the day this picture was taken.

There was everything but silence in the children's home.The only occasions they celebrated were their birthdays and this one was gonna be special.
Yoongi was teaching the piano basics to the kids as he did every Monday morning .
There was nothing but beautiful piano notes playing in the room.But as said nothing is permanent.
"You have time for them but not for me!"Y/N cutely whined as she wanted to tease Yoongi so bad.
"I----"
"Happy birthday 🎉."
the next moment the kids were singing the birthday song synchronised with the perfect yet delicate notes of the piano
"Class dissmissed kids."
There was so much energy and brightness in the kids like they just came back alive after playing zombie in the apocalypse.
"When does mine start?"she exclaimed as she sat next to her crush.
They played harmonious tones together until their hands brushed against each other.
The atmosphere wasn't awkward.The two pairs of eyes met showing small amount of love brewing in their hearts.
But it did not last long.
"Y/N-ssi,Yoongi-ssi come to the hall for the celebration."
"Yes!!"we said in unison and chuckled.
After that not-so-awkward moment the stage was set.
YOONGI POV
I  took out the blue box out of my cupboard and went out to see that Y/N was in a gorgeous dress.People had given  her presents.But I bet nothing would be special as me.
Then The next thing I saw was Y/N on stage calling my name.
The f***k I was supposed to do this.

"I have a surprise for you."she said.
"Well,me too!"
"How about we reveal it at the same time?"
"Sure.close your eyes then."
"You too"
We both closed our eyes.Well I definitely did.The crowd started counting down.
"3!2!1!show!"
Before we opened our eyes,we heard the crowd gasp.
When I opened my eyes,I was in a state of shock.

The two people on the stage took out small blue boxes out of their pockets and kneeled down while opening the box revealing 2 beautiful rings .

The short moment of Yoongi remembering his past was disturbed by clumsy Namjoon when he broke something and...
"Yoongi can you help clean up?!"
'You know Y/N,the difference between dreams and reality?Dreams are the things we want that we see during nights.As we wake up,dreams are replaced by reality.But when a dream becomes a reality,it has to come to an end,so that it does not happen again.Guess this was our story.'yoongi said to himself while constantly staring at the photo frame.
"You coming?"Namjoon screamed.
"Coming!"
