3rd Person Pov

Y/n and Yugi stood on the roof of New Domino High as they looked at the sunset. Y/n had his hands in his pockets as he looked at the sun.

Y/n: Yugi, I promise we will find a way to get your grandpa back, Pegasus is not getting away with this.

Yugi: I still can't believe he's gone, based on what you told me when you dueled him, you said that he somehow took grandpa's soul away with weird magic. But why?

Y/n: Because he has a Millennium Item. And he wants to see the extent of the one you have.

Yugi: You mean yours.

Y/n looks at Yugi in confusion before looking at him in shock as Yugi hands him the Millennium Puzzle.

Y/n: Yugi...I can't...

Yugi: I spoke to the spirit inside it, and we have both agreed that you need him in order to beat Pegasus and win my grandpa's soul back.

Y/n looks at Yugi for a minute as he was in his thoughts but took the puzzle and nodded.

Y/n: Yugi...thank you.

Yugi nods and smiles as Y/n smiles and looks at the puzzle to see the sunset shine off of it. Y/n and Yugi grab their bags as they start to walk back to the Game Shop and upon arriving a envelope was in the space between the door and the wall. Y/n and Yugi look at the letter in confusion.

Yugi; What's this?

Yugi grabs the envelope and looks at it at it hard Y/n's name on it. Yugi hands it to Y/n as he opens to see cards inside.

Y/n: It's from Pegasus.

Y/n takes one of the cards out and looks to see a picture of a castle on an island on it.

Y/n: This must be an invitation to the tournament at Duelist Kingdom.

The Next Day

Y/n sat at his desk as Joey, Tea, Yugi, Tristan and Ruby surrounded his desk.

Tea: A tournament at Duelist Kingdom? Isn't that an Island?

Joey: So that's where Pegasus is keeping gramps?

Y/n: I think. The only way to be sure is to be a contestant. The boats leaving in two days.

Y/n holds a card with a picture of a boat on it as Ruby looks at him.

Ruby: But what if it ends up like your first duel and your soul gets taken?

Y/n: I'll make sure that doesn't happen.

Tea: But you can't go. It could be even more dangerous.

Y/n: I have to go. It's the only clue I've got in order to recuse Mr. Muto.

Tristan: I still can't believe it. Pegasus used some kind of weird spell to grab his soul.

Y/n: Well, he was different from Kaiba when I duel him. But this time, I know what to expect.

Yugi: Even so, you still need to be careful.

Y/n nods as the bell rings signaling class to start. After school had ended as Y/n goes back to the Game Shop with Yugi and Ruby. Y/n sits at the couch as he looked at his cards as Ruby sat next to him.

Ruby: Y/n?

Y/n: Hmm?

Ruby: Do you really think that Pegasus used magic?
