My sparkling hazel eyes scanned the busy airport searching for a seat, finally landing on a empty row off blue plastic chairs I rushed over placing my butt down and planting my heavy ruck sack next to me.

Almost a second later, a loud thud was heard from behind me. My muscles clenched as I lifted from the seat, spinning around with gritted teeth and on full defence mode. A little boy stood with his water bottle in his hand and gave me a frightened look as he picked up his backpack, his mother looked at me in disgust before pulling her son close to her embrace.

"I'm- I'm sorry" I shook my head and was about to sit back down when I heard my name being screamed from the other end off the airport.

"RYANNN" My aunts small frame came into my view as she carried her legs over to me as fast as she could. Instantly smashing into my body and wrapping her tiny arms around me, making me chuckle.

"Hey, missed you too" I laughed and she pulled away from me with a smile on her face. She spun me around, looking me over.

"Oh gosh, your parents would be so proud off the man you have grown into to" she beamed at me.

"Thankyou, Aunt Linda"

Linda is my fathers sister, she took me on when I turned sixteen after my parents passed away in a car accident. I've always looked at her like a second Mom, she's done a lot for me. I would receive letters from her while I was away in the army and it would make my day. She was unable to have children herself, so I new that her taking me on was very special to her.

"Let's get you home" she pulled my strong arm towards the exit.

"When you said you had bought a bar in the letter a couple months back, I never imagined it to be this huge" I gawped at the stage that was in the middle off the room. Wooden tables where scattered around and tall stools lined up around the long bar.

"Well, what can I say..i went all out" she laughed while pushing open a door that lead to a set off stairs. I followed her up and a cosy living room came into my view, she showed me around before pushing open another door that led to my room.

A double bed with a grey bed spread was placed in the middle off the room, a white desk was by the bed with a lamp and an alarm clock resting on it. Grey matching blinds where hung on the small window and another desk had some books and a computer laid out on it, A closet was filled with clothes.

"Oh, so thats why you asked what my clothing size was" I looked at her and she nodded.

"Thankyou" I pulled her into a warm hug.

"Don't thank me silly!" She tapped my chest. "Now you can get sorted and change into something decent for a welcome home party tonight"

"No, please no fuss" I half smiled and she pouted.

"You are worth the fuss, now be down in the bar for 7pm"

Before I could answer, she was out off the door. A sigh left my lips and I placed my ruck sack onto the bed and walked over to the small window, peering out.

A brunette woman puffed away on a cigarette as she spoke on the phone, I could barely see her face but by the actions she was making she looked really pissed off. Her cigarette was soon thrown onto the ground and she put it out by squashing it into the pavement with her high heel. She shoved her phone into her jean pocket and jumped into a silver car, racing off down the road.

I shrugged before turning away and walking over to the closet, searching for an outfit and finally settling on a white button up shirt and black jeans.
