llCara lifted her head from between the comfort of her soft arms and let her eyes try to adjust to the darkness of the room. It was pitch black and the window was boarded up but this time the boards were on the outside of the window. The walls were black like the rest of the house but the paint seemed old and faded, the floors were cold and wooden making Cara quite uncomfortable sitting down.
She lifted her self into a standing position and took a small step forwards into something cold and ooze filled. She lifted her foot back to where it was before the step and decided she would need a torch before she continued her adventure. With a huff she turned to face the door, being careful not to let her sticky foot touch the ground.
The door was a large, brown, wooden door and it seemed to be falling apart. She let out a groan as she reached for the key, her breath made something move on the door. Cara pushed her hand out and felt around the giant wooden plank until she reached what felt like a piece of paper, she pulled it off and folded it up so she could read it when there was light.
The door made a loud creak as she opened it, but now she didn't really care, she slammed the door and locked it. Turning on her heels she ran to her room and slammed the door on her way into it. She waited in silence sitting on her sheet with knees tucked up to her chest, she was waiting for Hamish to realise that she opened the door and punish her.
There was nothing but silence for what seemed like hours. Cara got the note she had thrown on the floor and unfolded it. This note looked old at torn, it a couple of odd brown and red stains. They looked like blood. The writing was rushed and large, the first part the note had been roughly crossed out but th rest she could read.
"either he put you in here,
Or you found this room...
Either way your here now,
I have to go he's coming,
Please help me..."
That was all Cara could read from the note. a single tear fell onto the sheet of paper as she re-folded it. Cara placed the sheet next to her legs and slowly relaxed. A small gasp escaped her lips at the sight of a small figure in the corner of her cold room. She rubbed her eyes as if to say stop playing tricks. She looked back at the corner and the thing was gone.
