Today was not a good day.

Escaping the human realm and coming to the Devildom was honestly a dream come true for you; you didn't have to see your shitty family, your old shitty school and the shitty students there that sucked. Here? Here, you felt like you mattered.

But today was a bit of a different story.

You felt like your teachers were picking on you, sneering when you got the answer wrong or if you were slightly distracted. Your classmates had swept all of your paperwork onto the floor and hidden your stuff in the classroom when packing up.
You hoped your weeb of a best friend could offer some sort of support in this moment, you were trying not to break down in the hall on the way to his room.

Approaching the door, you just entered; you
A. Didn't have time for the riddle of the door bullshit
And
B. Were too upset to even think of anything else except a hug from him

"Hi Levi...!" you called, loud enough to be heard through his headphones.

He took one off of his ear, half paying attention to you, half to the screen, "Hey. How was your day?"

"Fucking. Awful."
Now, you rarely swore to be honest, let alone had that tone of attitude in your voice. "I need a hug..."

"Can you wait just a little bit? Just let me finish this part and I'll be with you - it's the newest Ruri-Chan game!"

You nodded, knowing that he was picky with leaving mid-game. However, one part became the next... then the next... then the next...

"Levi... I know you're absorbed in your game..." You came over, placing one hand on his shoulder and used the other to take a headphone off. "But it's been a few hours now... I'd really like to cuddle and talk about my day with you..."

"Just 5 more minutes! It's almost gotten to the part where-"

"No, Levi. You said that 2 hours ago." You sighed heavily, speaking over him as he didn't stop,
"Look I-"
You stopped, it didn't even look like he was listening anyway. "LEVI!"
You suddenly raising your voice had startled him.
"[Name], if you're going to be impatient; either get out or get comfortable - I don't want to stop mid-game..."
His tone was cold and harsh, whether he realised that or not... whether he did it on purpose or not.

You took your hand off his shoulder and grabbed your bag, "Bye, Leviathan."

No response.

You slammed his door behind you, slinging your bag over your shoulder and storming back to your room. The halls were void of any people and silent; not helping your spiralling thoughts.

'Why doesn't anyone care about me?
Why do I even continue with all this shit? I thought the Devildom was better than home...'

You felt your chest tightening, 'Oh fuck, please no, nonono not now.'
Followed by your legs beginning to quake uncontrollably... "No, no, no..." you murmured out, going from an angry fast paced walk to a terrified sprint back to your room. You slammed the door so hard, it didn't shut properly and re-opened slightly; not that you cared right now.

You immediately fell to the floor and sobbed. In your head you tried to ground yourself but...

'Fuck... I can't concentrate...'

Your thoughts began to spiral faster, meanwhile, Levi had just finished his game. He turned around in his chair to find an empty room, aside from himself and Henry 2.0.

"Oh... oh no." It was his turn to panic now,
"[Name]?" He threw his headset off and onto his desk, not caring that it made a loud clatter on the floor as it slipped off.
"[NAME]?!"
He practically vaulted himself up, looking around his room and bathroom.

You weren't there. Had he really upset you? Did you actually leave because of what he said?

You were now stood in front of your mirror, staring down your own reflection. "Worthless..." you said aloud, though it almost felt like your reflection was the one telling you this.
"You're worthless!"
You grabbed your hairbrush, gripping it tightly by the handle and threw it, shattering and altering the image of yourself. The throw caused the mirror to break in several ways, shards flying back at you and bouncing of your body.

One large shard slowly fell onto the desk where you had the mirror, it looked sharp... pointed...

'Am I really going to do this again...?'

You took the shard off of your desk and rolled up your skirt, many old scars were darted around the skin of your thighs. Your chest started heaving, your lungs felt constricted and your thoughts began to take over.
Before you made a decision, you screamed; it was long and loud, echoing throughout the halls, not that you noticed or cared.

Leviathan heard this and was already on his way to you. "[NAME]!" This was so out of character of him to act like this, even he knew that - but all sorts of things were telling him to go.

He ran in your room upon seeing your slightly open door and immediately came to your side, "Hey, Hey!
[N-Name]?"
You were a sobbing mess, glass clutched tightly which was now causing a slim slice down your palm. Leviathan looked down to where you skirt was slightly rolled up, blushing at where he was having to look but concern took over. "[Name]..."

You weakly looked up at him, tired from your panicking and tears and gave him a smile that was full of sorrow. He gazed over your thighs, he saw old scars alongside your new additions.

"[Name]... I'm sorry... it's my fault-"

You gripped his hand as tight as you could muster, "No. It's not. Everything piled up, anyone else could have acted the same and it still would've happened." Your hand slid back off of his, leaving a deep crimson smear across his knuckles.

"Still! [Name], I feel like I've hurt you... that's not something you do to the ones you love- ah!" His face flushed, "I mean-"

"Leviathan.
Third-born.
Avatar of Envy and biggest otaku I know.
Two things:
One: you better not be saying that just to make me happy," you stifled giggles as he nervously shook is head, "Right, then Two: You picked the worst time to confess."

You pulled him to you, your foreheads pressing together. "I love you too, Leviathan."

He helped you clean up your legs, carefully blotting them with a damp cloth and disposed of all the broken glass into your bin. He urged you to go and change, so you stepped into your bathroom and then out again in your favourite onesie.

"It's not that I don't trust you, [Name]... I just want you safe." You noticed your pillow, favourite stuffed animal under his arms and a clean uniform and undergarments in your school bag (as it wasn't zipped up). "You're staying with me for the night, okay?"

You felt your eyes water, and nodded as a tear rolled down your cheek, "I'd love that, Leviathan."
