Chapter 4 - A Home For You and Me

Days passed again, things were normal as usual. Only until Sapphire woke up that evening, finding the cast was off her wing. She wriggled her wing freely. She was surprised and excited.
 "Did one of you take off the cast?" Sapphire asked to the four penguins, hanging together in the table.
 "Yes," Kowalski replied. "We took it off. You'r free now."
 Sapphire was so happy, should could've hugged every single one of them. Even better, experience the sky once again! But then she paused... If she has been healed at last, then that means she will leave. From the whole zoo. She should've felt more excited, but that only left her a little disappointed.
 "Aren't you gonna go now?" Skipper asked to the standing Sapphire.
 "Uh... yes. I will. Thanks for helping me," Sapphire replied to the captain.
 She opened the hatch and exited the HQ, leaving the penguins alone. Silently, she heard the whispering of the penguins down.
 "Oh well... looks like we saved the day again," Private sighed. He was bored. But to Sapphire, by his voice, he was a little more than bored.
 Sapphire decided to mind her own business. She decided to get ready to flap. 1-2-3 and flap! She finally lifted from the HQ, and soon she would be wandering off around New York (as she now knew where she was) and be travelling once again. But she suddenly felt that she was sinking...
 She felt something holding her feet. She looked down and there was Keyra, begging her to get down. Increasing the weight of Sapphire to not fly off.
 "What are you doing?" Sapphire said to the crying Fennec Fox.
 "Don't leave meeeh! No one leaves Keywaaa!" Keyra shrieked.
 "But, I gotta go!"
 "NOOO! YOU NO LEAVE MEH!" and with that, Keyra dragged Sapphire with even more weight.
 That led Sapphire to imbalance and so she couldn't keep straight and fell.
 "Keyra!" Sapphire yelled.
 "Why you have to leave meh!?" Keyra begged.
 "Keyra, listen. I just came here by accident."
 "Yes, but you've been a good guest! Why not stay?"
 "I got to go you know."
 "What's the rush anyways?"
 Sapphire had a long pause, but then she replied, "Uh... well... I'm just a traveller. I won't always stay in the same place, you know."
 "That's why you don't have a home! You can at least have a home here! Everybody is welcome!" Keyra begged, much more.
 Sapphire stared down to the little Fennec Fox with hesitation. She thought about the time she had here. It isn't too bad, actually. And what's wrong if she made her living here? She thought deeply about it...
 "Okay Keyra. I may stay," Sapphire announced.
 Keyra beamed with joy.
 "But wait... Where shall I live?"
 "Hmm.. You're a Snowy Owl, right?"
 "Yeah."
 "I think our little Polar Bear friend wouldn't mind to have a partner in his cave."
