Kai
I heard her scream and it killed me. I should of stayed. Agh, why'd I have to leave. It was a party I could of just taken off my mask and jacket and no one would of recognize me. There were already a lot of people there, what's one more?
She stoped screaming a little while ago and I heard people talking. It wasn't weird that I was hanging out outside the window, on the wall, right?
The ambulance showed up five minutes after I finally climbed down. I saw Nora siting down with her eyes close. I wanted to check on her so much. I had to go before I blew my cover. I don't think I stabbed her that bad. Unless I did? Ugh, what if I accidentally killed her. Oh, fish sticks this is bad.
I'm not a stocker if I follow the ambulance to the hospital and I'm definitely not a stocker asking where her room is. No, not a stocker when I lied and said she was was sister, nope.
She looks so peaceful sleeping. I hope she's okay.
"Buzz. Buzz." I glance around to see where the noise is coming from and realize it was my phone. Oh, snap. It's Chaos. I go into the first supply closet I could find.
"Hello."
"What, happened?!" He's mad.
"I, um, er, we are at the hospital. We ran into some trouble. Don't worry though I took care of it. I killed that Noah guy, but had to act on plan 7 to get her out safely."
"Your definition of safe is for my Nora to be in a hospital bed, almost dead?" His Nora? What does that mean?
"What do you mean your Nora?"
"That is none of your concern. Just make sure she is safe and get her home. I will deal with the havoc you brought by stabbing her." He hung up. I walk out of the closet and almost ran into a doctor.
"I'm so sorry."
"Ah, there you are. We just wanted to say your sister will live. She is just resting now. Visitors are allowed." He says not knowing how happy that makes me.
"Really!" I don't give me a chance to answer before I rush to her room. I sit down next to her bed and just look at her.
Man, she's beautiful. I don't scold myself this time because she really is. Anybody who doesn't think so is blind. Her left eye twitches.
"It's me." She opens one eye slowly.
"Kai?" Oh, yeah. I forgot I took of my mask.
"Yeah. How are you feeling?"
"You stabbed me pretty good if I don't say so myself." She smiles and man. My heart skips a beat.
"So, you know?"
"I guessed you were Cabbage at the party." She try's to sit up but hisses instead. I reach for her but stop midway. She looks at me then and I think my temper rises. Yup, I'm blushing. Just a little bit. I retract my hands and place them at my sides. Her eyebrows go up.
"Chaos called. He wanted to check in, see if you were alright." Her breath hitches and her eyes grow for a second, at the mention of Chaos.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"You just did but yes, you can."
"Why did Chaos call you his Nora? What's up with you two?" She doesn't look at me or move when the question leaves my mouth. She stairs straight ahead.
Finally she answers, "h-he's my dad."
