The dragon riders took Spitelout back to Berk and Stoick was very interested in what happened considering he and the whole village saw a golden tornado.

Stoick eyes the new addition to the group of strangers who was leaning heavily against Lloyd because he was so tired. "What in Thor's name happened!" Stoick yells. "It was quite a battle chief wouldn't believe me if I told you," Spitelout laughs. "Dad it was all good we released the dragons rescued a friend and put a hole in Viggo's operations," Hiccup said proudly. "But we need to visit Gothy to check on his injuries he was severely wounded while with Viggo," Fishlegs said referring to Kai. "I'm fine the scroll healed me," Kai waves it off. "Kai your limping on me and Still have some cuts that need to be looked at," Lloyd said.

"Ugh fine," Kai agrees. The riders direct him to Gothy who checked him. He was mostly fine but Gothy gave him some medicine then wrote what it would do. "She says this should stop any infections, but will cause effects similar to being drunk," Fishlegs said. Sure enough Kai starts slurring.

"Heeeeeyyyy, where's greeeeeenie? Whooo are you?" Kai asks pointing to Gothy. "She says it'll wear off in a hour," Fishlegs said. "She's older than Wu," Kai said in a drunken whisper than giggle. "Come on lets go to the old dragon arena you can sleep there before  heading back to the edge." Hiccup said. Kai whines. "No I want greenie," he pouts. "I'm right here Kai," Lloyd said behind him. Kai tipped his head back and smiles dopey. "Hiiiiii cutie," he giggles and Lloyd blushes. "Thank you," he whispers to the old lady before picking Kai up bridal style. They headed down to the others who were confused by Kai's behaviour.

"Odd medication he's gonna be like this for a hour," Lloyd said. "You are cute," Kai said pointing a shaking finger at Lloyd who blushed. "Ha he must think your girl," Tuffnut snickers. "I want answers about what has happened the last few days and I want them to tell me about it," Stoick said pointing at the ninja. "But someone needs to watch Kai," Jay said. "Greenie can do it," Kai said hugging a still blushing Lloyd. "Here he can go to the dragon arena I'll show you too it," Fishlegs offers. They accept as Lloyd takes Kai with him while the others reported to Hiccup's father.

"Caaan you keeep a secret?" Kai whispers loudly so both hear him. "What?" Fishlegs asks amused. "Don't tell Lloyd but he's really cute. When he tries to be mad it's like a little puppy. But he doesn't love me," Kai slurs. Lloyd chuckles and kisses his lips softly. "I do love you. Your my boyfriend," Lloyd's said. "Yaaaay greeeenie loves me," Kai said with his arms thrown around Lloyd's neck. Fishlegs stops and turned and Lloyd looks like a deer caught in headlights. "Lloooooyd! I want to snuggle," Kai whines pulling in close and trying to give Lloyd a kiss but just gave him one on his neck. Fishlegs has his mouth agape and was pointing at them.

"Don't tell the others! Please we're sorry we didn't tell you we just weren't sure how you would react," Lloyd said desperately. "I won't tell! I don't have any reason to be against it," Fishlegs said. "It's just new," he admits. Lloyd sighs a breath of relief. "Thank you," Lloyd said sincere. They make it to the training arena and Lloyd put Kai down who then grabbed onto his leg. "Noooo! I want to snuggle," Kai whines. Lloyd laughs and sat down and pulled Kai close. "Okay," he said lovingly.

Kai smiles and made himself comfortable using Lloyd as his pillow. Fishlegs and Lloyd have a nice chat while Kai sleeps off the effects of the medication. Gobber shows up to see what was going on and how the red stranger was fairing.

The effects had pretty much worn off by then. Kai was still in a bit of pain but mostly good. "Who's the pirate?" He asked when he saw Gobber. Gobber laughs and slapped his good knee. "Pirate that's a good one!" He laughs wiping a tear from his eye. "That's Gobber the village blacksmith," Fishlegs introduces. They shook hands and him and Kai got into a conversation about different metals for specific pieces of weaponry. Gobber was delighted to meet a fellow blacksmith eventually night befell Berk and the other ninja came by delighted to see Kai back to his old self.

"Hope you don't mind sleeping here for the night," Hiccup said to them. "Not at all we've slept in worse places," Zane said helpfully. "What did you tell the chief?" Lloyd asks. "That the rescue mission was successful and Spitelout's talk about power was the effects of a poisonous hallucination dart," Nya said. "Great now I'm going to sleep," Kai yawns. "Alright we'll be back in the morning," Hiccup said waving goodbye with the others and Gobber. They went to sleep peacefully.

Until Lloyd was woken up to the sound of whimpering he looked over and saw Kai shaking properly having a nightmare. Lloyd scooted over and wrapped his arms around Kai whispering soothing words in his ears. Slowly Kai calmed down and Lloyd kisses his cheek. "Lloyd please stay," Kai asks. "I'm not leaving you again," Lloyd promises. Kai smiles and they both fall back asleep.

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF THOR!?" A voice yells followed by a boom. They all startled awake at the boom and jumped to fighting poses only to be greeted by Gober. "What was the boom?" Jay asked. "That's how me and Grump wake up the visitors," Gober said motioning to the dragon behind Gober they just noticed. "What type of dragon is this?" Zane asks curiously. "Old Grump? Pretty harmless unless you get him angry and got to keep him away from Hiccup most of the time," Gober answers. "Why?" Nya asks. "He eats metal and most of the time tries to eat his metal leg. He can smell it from far away won't eat anything else unless it's made of metal," Gober said.

The dragon sniffed the air then started going over to Zane who was desperately trying to back away from being eaten. "Anyway I just came because Kai here promised to exchange techniques," Gober said. Kai yawns but nodded. "Yeah sure coming," he said following Gober with a goodbye wave to the others Grump even left.

"May as well ask Hiccup when we can leave," Lloyd said. They all nodded following him to the village that was already buzzing with villagers getting up to do they're work. The dragon riders were working to get they're dragons ready for flight. "So when can we go home?" Lloyd asks. "We can set flight before noon just need to go behind the island away from the village for flight don't want a massive panic seeing new dragons. By the way where's Kai?" Hiccup asks.

"Hiccup! Stoick!" Gober yells pulling Kai behind him who looked really annoyed. "Kai what did you do?" Nya asks her brother with her hands on her hips. "Nothing! I just made a sword and he freaked out," Kai explains. "What is it Gobber?" Hiccup asks in a tired voice. "This boy made that sword without gloves on and isn't burned!" Gobber said pulling Kai's hand forward as he rolls his eyes. "Last time I did that I lost a hand!" Gobber said. "I thought you said a bone crusher ate it?" Fishlegs asks.

"It did he got it cooked," Gobber said. "I wore gloves! You just didn't see me take them off," Kai said taking his arm back. "Gobber you were just seeing things again like that time the sheep started flying," Stoick said putting a hand on his friends shoulder. "The sheep were flying!" Gobber said overly dramatic.

"Anyway we need to get going," Astrid said clapping her hands. "I'm grabbing my sword first," Kai said walking back to the shop. He came back with the sword that Stoick and the other Vikings laughed at. It was a traditional sword of Ninjago contrast to the usual style of Vikings it had a slim line with a slight curve at the end instead of a sharp arrow and wide style of the Vikings.

"You call that a sword? It's a tooth pick!" Stoick bellows. The ninja all tense and the riders notice. "What's wrong?" Hiccup asks. "Rule number one never insult Kai's katanas," Nya said in a whisper. "I bet I could beat your best swordsman here with a actual tooth pick," Kai challenges. Stoick amused and not listening to the warnings from the riders and ninja said.

"Okay then Spitelout!" Stoick calls and Spitelout ran forward. "Yes Stoick?" He asks. "Grab you sword you're duelling with this boy," Stoick said pointing at Kai. Spitelout smiles eagerly and unsheathes his sword. "Stand back everyone first to yield looses," Stoick said. Snotlout had his head in his hands while the rest of the village watched in excitement.

"FIGHT!" Stoick said and the two clashed. To say it was a fight was generous to say the least. Spitelout charges sword raised ready to slash down on Kai who charged as well. But at the last minute he side stepped a hair away from the sword cutting him open tripped Spitelout who fell flat on his face dropping his sword. Than before he could get up Kai held the sword to his throat completely pinned to the ground. Spitelout didn't even need to say it he had lost the fight before it even started.

"I...yield," Spitelout said and Kai let go with the most cocky grin ever. "And that wasn't even with my good hand," Kai taunts. The whole village was shocked as Kai walked over to the others. "So when do we go?" He asks like nothing had happened.

Sorry for taking so long to update been having serious writers blocks with most of my stories this is just a fluff chapter
