'Xmas My Heart (Zerrie AU)

Part 1

"Done!" Perrie exclaimed throwing herself on the couch. She was tired, after wrapping and hiding presents the whole day. Christmas was days away and she wanted everyone to have the perfect present. This year she gave her best, worked extra shifts at the local supermarket and even washed a couple of cars, just to get enough money to buy presents for her friends. This year, they planned on having secret Santa, but Perrie knew they would only get each other crappy presents, and decided to be everyone's secret Santa. 

"Can we come in now?" Leigh-Anne asked with her hand covering her eyes. Perrie asked her to leave the living room and only come back once she was done packing the presents. Leigh-Anne has been Perrie's best friend since she was younger and roommate for 5 years now. The two girls trusted each other more than anyone else. 

"Sure thing." Perrie said and Leigh-Anne uncovered her eyes and was surprised by the perfectly wrapped gifts under their medium sized Christmas tree. She knew Perrie wanted to satisfy everyone this year, after last year's Christmas, but Leigh-Anne thought all Perrie would only get some coupons and distribute at Christmas eve. 

"Wow, these look great Pez! Which one is mine?" Leigh-Anne asked looking at the presents. They were all different sizes, and there was even a small one, smaller than Leigh-Anne's hand. "I swear, if my present is that small one, I will move out and go live with Niall."

"You just want an excuse to go live with Niall, that's all." Perrie joked and Leigh-Anne had to hide her smile. It was completely obvious that Niall and Leigh liked each other. Always spending time together and talking on the phone in a work night. They have been like this since high school, but Niall always chose to do nothing and Leigh decided to busy herself with worthless boyfriends. 

"No...Anyway, Jesy asked if we could meet her in Louis's Café for brunch. She wants to discuss something with us. I bet she is about to tell us she will be moving houses again." Leigh-Anne guessed and stood up to go get her car keys. 

"I have to tell you something." Perrie bluntly said and Leigh turned around to face her. Perrie had a worried face on and she looked embarrassed. 

"What is wrong Pez?" Leigh asked sitting back down. 

"I got everyone a present." Perrie started explaining. 

"I can see that." Leigh responded not understanding why Perrie was bragging about the presents again. But this time, it seemed as if she wasn't trying to brag about her great choice of presents for all of their friends. 

"Everyone...but Zayn." Perrie finally said and Leigh gave her a confused look. 

"Gosh, he will be crushed Pez!" Leigh said knowing something was bound to go wrong this Christmas. She can already imagine Zayn's face when everyone is getting a present from Pez and he only got the present from his secret Santa. 

"I know, but he is just so mysterious. I don't know what he wants for Christmas. He never gave me a single sign. Always keeping in the down-low about what he wants. I still have a couple of days to figure it out, but I will need help." Perrie confessed and Leigh nodded her head. Of course she had to help Perrie.

"Alright. But we better be fast and get as many helpers we can get to find out what Zayn truly wants for Christmas." Leigh reassured her best friend and the two left their apartment to go meet up with Louis. 

Louis owned this comfortable small Café where Harry and Niall worked at and the three ran that place together. It is amazing how much clientele they have everyday and now with Christmas, they decorated the whole place with bright lights and ornaments, which makes the place look ever so beautiful. 

Leigh and Perrie arrived after 6 minutes drive. It was nearby which allow the group to hang out together. The two girls entered the café and everyone was there but Zayn. He was probably running late, as always. "Hey guys!" Perrie greeted and everyone in the café greeted her back. Everyone was so humble and kind.
