I think it's incredibly sad how two people can get to know each other, and then one day, everything falls apart. They come to know everything about each other; hopes, dreams, fears, curiosities, passions, the way their eyes flicker over their favorite book, the way they love so deeply. And then, one day, something changes. And once it changes, there's no going back. They're stuck in a limbo between knowing everything about them and having amazing memories with them to walking past them in the hallway like they never knew each other.
