Emily had just finished her shift at the bar where she worked. She was getting ready to leave when a man sitting across the bar caught her eye. There was something about him that just mesmerized her. He was tall blonde and had the deepest pools of brown eyes. Emily had just gotten out of a year long abusive relationship and knew she wasn't ready to fall into another man's arms. She walked out the door to her car. Just as she unlocked the door and was about to open it another hand grabbed the handle and opened her car door for her. She was startled. She whips around and is met with the gaze of those brown eyes. She says " Woah you scared me" and she laughs nervously. He replies, " I saw you staring at at me and thought I'd introduce myself". "I'm Matthew Hunter." She responds "I'm Emily Kate's." "What's a fine girl like you doing alone on a Friday?" he asked. Emily says I just got off work and was getting ready to go home. "What's a handsome man like you doing sitting at the bar alone?" "Don't you have a girlfriend?" He says, "No, but could I maybe have your number to take you out sometime?" Emily says " I just got out of a relationship and I'm not looking for anything serious right now but I'll give you my number and we can get to know each other." She takes out a piece of paper from her apron and writes down the number 303-363-4725 and hands it to Matthew. "This is my number call me sometime and we can grab lunch or coffee." She then says "I've really got to get going, I'll see you around." With that she got in her car and she disappeared into a cloud of dust.
