Today was a good day but I don't know what was good in the day however I went inside my home to see mom standing in the door with her arms folded with a angry face.
"Where were you I told you to come early just one day can't u manage your work am I nothing for you..." Mom started
"Mom my car got punctured sorry but now let's not waste time" I said
"Baby lets go you set the gifts in the car I ll come and bring muku." Dad said and helped me.
Mom nodded and left while dad to left with muku I got ready in a simple black shirt and pant. While we were in the car Mukti showed me the picture of the girl and I was shocked seeing it.

Wow now it's going to be fun miss Nandini.
We reached their and her parents welcomed us. Then her father and brother started interrogating me which was a bit uncomfortable however I answered it truly. After they were satisfied her mom asked Navya to bring her down.
Nandini PoV
Today mom is going to kill me she asked me to get ready at 7 but here I can't even decide what to wear.
"Wear this" saying so Navya came
"Navya u are so late I told u na .." I was scolding her
"Nandu scold me later first get ready."
She said and I took the dress and went to the room. The dress was beautiful I kept my hairs opens and applied some eyeliner and a little make up and worn a heavy jumka. I took deep breath and went down with Navya.

I went their slowly I never felt so much tensed ever in my life. I already knew nyeonika auntie, Mukti and even raj uncle but I didn't knew they had a son. I raised my head to see the man and I was shocked seeing him.
"Nandu close your mouth " Navya whispered and I composed myself
"Beta come sit with us don't feel uncomfortable " Nyeo auntie said and I went and sat between Nyeo and Mukti.
Soon Nyeo auntie started asking me questions while raj uncle cracked jokes to lighten the mood I could see Mukti and Abhi bhai having numerous eye locks however he didn't spoke a word.
"Raj ji our Nandu is a very good painter Nandu go and show Mukti your panting " mom said
"Take Manik and abhi as well" dad said
"U all forgot me" Navya said pouting
All laughed and and we all went up and reached the painting room. All admired my paintings and appreciated me.

Abhi : Manik go in the balcony and talk to Nandu
Manik : Thanks shall we go?
Manik and Nandini went in the balcony and their was an akward silence between the both and Manik decided to break it.
"You are a great artist too " Manik said
"Thanks " Nandini replied
"Well so except tyre repairing and painting what else do you do?" Manik asked
"Well I am a chatter accountant in your dad s company " Nandini replied
"Oh really I didn't knew it are you in the second branch?" Manik asked excitingly
"Hmmm " Nandini replied
"Btw Manik ji I wanted to ask you can I continue.." Nandini said
"Yes you can do anything after your marriage " Manik continue while sitters on his knees he held her hand and said " Nandini marriage will never be end of your ambitions you can continue to enjoy your freedom just the way you did before " saying so he got up
"Manik ji honestly I never thought about this but I feel you are the right guy for me if you don't have any objections I want to give this relationship a try" Nandini said
"But before that I want to tell you that I had a past affair, I was in a relationship with my childhood friend Soha but she cheated on me and we broke up two years ago." Manik said closing his eyes
Nandini went near him and held his hand and said " Manik ji don't let your past affect your present yesterday is a history and tomorrow is a mystery but today is a present enjoy it to the fullest " saying so she left his hand
"Thanks Nandini thank you so much for understanding me I assure you that my past will never affect our relationship." Manik said
"So shall we say yes to our parents." Nandini asked
"No we can't till you" Manik move towards Nandini and said " till you call me manik"
"Ji Manik.." Nandini slutter
Manik move near her more and they were nose apart Nandini has never been in such a close proximity with anyone "pls Nandini "
"Manik" Nandini said
They both looked at each other they had mixed feelings for one another. Nandini s eyes were depicting many emotions while Manik were reading them their beautiful moments was broken by three loud coughs
Soon they straighten themselves while Mukti Abhi and Navya were looking here and there. Breaking the silence Navya said
"Let's go down"
They all went down and Nandini and Manik nodded in yes making their parents happy. All were very happy they were exchanging hugs and sweets.
Manik made Nandu ate her favourite sweet with his hand while she blushed and everyone laughed.
"Priya ji all you come to our home this weekend we will discuss about the dates and have dinner as well" nyeonika said
"Ji this will be good we all will come at time" Priya said
Every one bid bye to each other Nandini was sad as Manik was going . "Nandu don't worry weekend will come soon.." Navya said and Nandini pushed her by her hand
Mukti came to Nandini and whispered something to Nandini s ear to which she chuckled and nodded a yes. Both Abhi and Manik looked at suspiciously however ignored it and went out.
"Can't wait time bring you to our home" Nyeo said
"Even I can't wait to send this drama queen away" Priya said
"Haw I am a drama queen go mom I ll not talk to you " Nandini said and every one laugh
After a lot of leg pulling the Malhotra s went away.
