Nandini PoV
It has been a week about that Harshad incident. I have forgiven Manik but not forgotten the way he shouted on me and accuse me without knowing the entire matter but at last when all the profs were against me he still supported me so he deserves a second chance.
Right now I am in the office it's my last day before my 3 week leave. I had applied for it the last week and I got it today. My mom advised to work from home for some days as after marriage a lot of guest comes home and calls to their home as well and it would be rude to say no.
But taking a lot of holiday will increase my work load so Manik suggested that I can virtually join the office for a week and I agreed. Keeping all my thoughts aside I went down and waited for Manik . From the past week we both drop and picked each other from the office and will continue even after marriage.
Soon Manik and apologised for being late and I just peck him saying it was worth waiting.
"Nandini we will not be able to meet for a week" Manik said with a pout.
"Manik baby we will meet for some functions and anyway we are always going to be together after sometimes na?" I said
Manik placed his head on my laps and I ruffled his hairs. "I will miss u mini"
"I will miss u too Mickey " I said
"Let's go to Disney land for our honeymoon " Manik said
I just blushed as he said about honeymoon but on a serious note was I ready for it ? Is the marriage to fast?
"What happened Nandini?" He asked
"Nothing " I said and looked out of the water
"Nandini I will not do anything that you won't like and don't worry I can understand what you are thinking but don't worry we ll go slow and..." Manik said..
"Manik shhh how much do you speak com on now get up and be my cuddle pillow" I said
He said and we both chuckled and cuddled for sometimes.
I finally reached my home . My mom was running from here and there and my father was pacifying her while my brother was talking in phone while Navya was busy taking selfie's. I sighed and entered.
"Their look the bride has finally come" Navya said
All looked at me and I just rolled my eyes
"Beta go and change fast Navya pls help her. Oh god every one would be coming soon how will we manage everything " mom said
"Priya ji you go and change me and abhi will manage" dad said
"You both will manage then Nandini your marriage will happen next year only " mom taunted
"Mom don't challenge us and what will everyone say that bride mom is only not looking nice you go and change till then we will manage " Abhi said
"Okay but if u need any help then call me" mom said
We all went to change . Navya showed me the saree that I needed to wear and I liked it. Suddenly mom came Navya excused her so it was only we both.
"Nandini you liked the saree I know it's a bit old but this is of my mom " she asked
"Mom I loved it" I said and hugged her
"It's good Accha see this is the necklace it's light but this was the first necklace your father bought for me with his first salary " mom said
"Mom then why are you giving this to me ? Dad bought this for you na" I said
"I know beta but I want you to wear this okay?" Mom said
