CHAPTER 7 - New Crush

"Is she alright?"

"She'll be alright. She just needs time alone to think" Nana said, closing the door behind her. She looked at Harith who has concerned written all over his face

"I hope she doesn't get it the wrong way" Sighing, Harith looked at the door Behind Nana. He doesn't know what to think right now

"She won't. I trust her that she won't get it in the wrong way. I can assure you." She smiled sadly

"Harley, Do you think Chang'e will be okay?" Lylia asked out of the blue. They had left earlier than the others because apparently, They happen to bump into Layla while they were heading to Chang'e's dorm room saying that Lesley has been waiting outside the house for long minutes now worried for his little brother on when he is gonna get home since it was getting late. Ever since that it was awfully fell silent as they walk

"She should be. afterall That Jerk isn't even worth the time to begin with." He gritted his teeth in Anger

"Sheesh- Take a chill pill it's not like he's gonna kill you at some way, Anyway I'll explain to Lesley the cause of you coming home late tonight then I'll be heading back to my dorm." She glanced at Harley who has his eyes glued to her

"Your dropping me off?"

"What did you think, Genius? Of course I'll drop you off, don't want you coming up to me tomorrow saying that 'you almost died yesterday for not coming with you and bringing you home'." She rolled her eyes

"But it's dangerous," He sincerely said

"I'll be fine and if anything happens Gloom is here to protect me" She waved her staff as she stopped infront of the big house Lesley waiting on the doorstep

"Harley you had me worried sick!" Lesley hugged Harley who kept on mumbling something on Lesley's ear that Lylia can't hear

"Oh, Lylia thank you so much for bringing Harley home." She hugged Her

"It's alright, Sis. Anyways I'll be heading out now," Before she could turned around A Hand stopped her

It was Harley

"No I'm not letting you go home by yourself," He realized what he just did so he quickly lets go of his hands. You can see Lesley who had a smug look in the background. "I-I mean. I couldn't possibly let you go home by your own a-at this hour-" Shyt. Did he just stutter?

"Harley's right, you should stay for the night afterall it is getting late and I don't want you going home by yourself with noone accompying you." Lesley looked at Lylia with concerned eyes. Lylia thought for a moment

"It's alright Sis, I really should get going now-" Her stomach growled

"I'll cook you something you'd like."

And Lelsey smiled

And with that The Vance siblings along with the split-colored hair girl made their way to the huge house

The next day had come and it is currently lunch time meaning doing the ususal routine for the students here in Magic Academy
The small group of friends sat on their seats in their specific table chatting and eating like everyone else

"I actually thought we were gonna lose there but I forgot Harith was on my team so we ended up winning!" Nana cheered at her victory as well as Harith who has love eyes on her the whole time

"Hey Guys~!"

"Chang'e? But I thought you were-"

"I'm fine now, afterall, I realized that He isn't worth the time." She smiled warmly as she sat down on her usual seat. Cyclops looked at her confused trying to find the Lie on her but it seems like she's already moved on

The once noisy group fell silent till Kimmy decided to break the silent atmosphere

Kimmy patted her back as She smiled reassuringly "I'm happy you finally realized that Elijah is not who you think he is, afterall, There is so many fish in the sea you might not know if he's right infront of you," She glanced at Cyclops who immediately had his face red as a tomato

"Silly, Kimmy" She giggled
Lylia glanced at Harley who turned his head facing the opposite direction from her
The moment she turned to his direction

Harith noticed this

"Ooh~ looks like Harley has a new crush" He nudged Harley's arms giving him this kind of look, Tho, even at this His pide isn't gonna back down

"W-What are you talking about?" He blushed "Don't lie to me Harley," He came closer to Harley's ear and whispered

"I caught you staring at Lylia with Lovey dovey eyes and smiling as if she's the most delicate flower~" Harley widen his eyes now a blushing mess. Lylia frowned she didn't hear what Harith said afterall she is sitting next to Nana far away from where Harley sat. She was confused and curious

Harley has a new crush?

"Ooh~? Who's that lucky girl~? Diggie joined in "Bet it's gonna be someone like Guinevere" Claude nudged Kimmy who crossed her arms together

"No, I don't think it's not gonna be the same as Guin after she rejected him two times already"

"Talk about that."

"Well woever it is, that girl
caught Harley's attention meaning she's either had many interactions with Him before or She has high taste in Magic"

"Okay, okay stop! Alright? I refuse to have these kinds of discussion with you especially if it involves around my personal space."

I see now

She frowned and thought of Harley blushing over someone just pains her

Atleast he's happy
