I did my best to pretend he didn't scare me. "Why would I be looking for you?" I asked. I walked over to my bed and sat down, avoiding his eyes. "Because you're interested in me" he said. I looked up at him. He was right. I was interested in him. "Why would I be interested in some guy who claims to be dead?" I asked, calling his bluff. "I'm not claiming shit baby. I'm dead. Deceased. Pushing daisies" He said as he sauntered over and sat next to me. I took a deep breath, "Why should I believe you?" He reach out and took hold of my chin, making me look at him, "One thing I can promise you is that I won't lie to you" he said. I swallowed hard, "Why? You have no reason to tell me the truth. You don't even know me" he smiled, "I'd like to" I felt a heat flush through my cheeks, "W-why?" He shrugged, "I'm lonely. I don't have anyone or anything" I felt sadness for this sweet boy. "Oh" was all I said. he nodded and laid across my bed. "Why were you being so creepy in the beginning?" I asked, sitting back against my pillows. He smirked, "I just wanted to fuck with you" I laughed a bit, "Oh" "Why do you look so nervous?" he asked with a smile. "I'm sitting here talking to a... Ghost" I said. he nodded, "Okay. Touche" he laughed. "So... How'd you die?" I asked. His face got serious a moment, "I... I don't remember" I nodded, "I guess that is something you block out" He smiled, "Yeah. I guess it's better I don't remember"
