When dawn came ignorant to knock as it always did, fate seemed squashed and unable to defend itself; seeked serenity. It was a cuddling bolt of time, with times exploding and stars forging sight, the sun rose and shone always with ego bragging of it's luminous rays. Of course it would last today, tomorrow's today and tomorrow's tomorrow.
Books began to flood my thoughts and like a flower sprouting forth from mild moist, it defied all odds to make it. Erenous thoughts wilted, and in their place a deep sense of thought found comfort.
Poetry married me in a colourful wedding and with it's lustre breeze forged smile in my worry face. That was then, and with days I embraced of my hearts desires, staying up late reading novels and articles. For sure weak man n'ver won a fair lady. It was a fight of masked thoughts, embrace or refute, none adamant of the choicesWith every glow, and as the guns of the orient intensified, Africa kept yelling of iniquities they themselves were victims of circumstance to and not forgetting the deteriorating ties of the West and East, I found comfort in the pen, humble as it had always been; expressing that which the heart wished not to soil. It was the perfect way to fight back!
It was kind of love at first sight but put into hold. So with every second betraying itself into days, I let my heart have what it bless for. And with that came a marriage of a poem,a pen and a poet. A unique wedding indeed. Foolishly asked, I would say it was a perfect threesome😂
