Listen with music if you can :P
Sagittarius stood in front of the door to her house. She shouldn't be this nervous but she was and it burned in her stomach. She knew he was already home because she had saw his car in the driveway. She put in the passcode to the door and it beeped in reply, unlocking it. Her heels clicked against the hardwood floor and she took them off at the door.
"I'm back..." she announced softly on purpose.
She walked in and saw him on the couch already seemingly through multiple glasses of wine. His cheeks were slightly red from the alcohol and he had drowsy eyes but it didn't take away from his angry gaze. Sagittarius sat on the couch across from him and gulped.
"Please explain. PLEASE tell me I misunderstood." He begged.
Sagittarius was arguing with herself in her head, unsure if she should tell him everything, that she slept with Pisces on multiple occasions. He already looked dangerously unstable.
"Ok fine. Why'd you leave that night? I saw you leave in a hurry."
That was the night Aquarius got kidnapped. She bit her lip and tried making it as vague as possible.
"One of my students was having trouble with something."
He scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Really? Not to go meet that guy? What was his name...Pisces?"
"No not to meet that guy." She shook her head.
"How am I supposed to believe you? I don't know how long this has been going on." He finished off his glass.
A while
"I-I know I'm not the perfect person. I used to be cocky and arrogant, a pain in the ass. I probably made you unhappy earlier in our marriage but haven't I changed? I'm trying really hard." He gulped hard, clearly trying not to get too emotional.
Sagittarius moved to sit next to him and cautiously took the glass from his hand, not wanting him to drink too much.
"Are you hurt?" He sniffled and put both hands on her cheeks, looking sadly into her eyes.
"Am I the reason you need therapy? Did I make you that unhappy?" His voice trembled on the last few words.
"N-no." Sagittarius put a hand on his hand and leaned into his touch.
Sagittarius has never seen this side of him, it startled her seeing him so vulnerable and emotional.
"Please tell me what I need to change. I won't know unless you tell me."
The truth to this situation was that Sagittarius was the one that needed to change. She always kept to herself and never thought about how her decisions affected others, she could see the aftermath now. Earlier she didn't care much for him because he seemed distant and cold but now realizing his true feelings, it made her feel warm inside and even more guilty.
While she was thinking he leaned in and gave her a burning kiss. It was intentionally slow and she could feel his sadness through his motions. He pulled away and burrowed his face in the crook of her neck, slightly shaking from holding in his tears.
"What did you do that day?" His voice was now slurred and husky.
"I told you my student was having some trouble."
"No no....what did you do graduation day?"
Sagittarius furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and gently pushed him back to look at his face. His head dropped and he whined.
