"It's the small moments that make life big."
Opening for a rock band was the most exciting feeling ever. Every night I'm still in shock when people sing my songs back to me. The songs I had tried to hide from people were being sung by thousands. And to this day, watching Queen perform is the best feeling in the world. For once, everyone on that stage loves what they are doing and it was beautiful. After months of travelling America, we were back in England and the first thing the boys had to do was attend a meeting with their label.
So I spent some time with Mary, doing some girly things. We walked past a beautiful little baby clothes shop and Mary instantly began to awe at it. "Mel, wouldn't you just love to have a miniature version of yourself?" She asked me and I could feel my heart speeding up.
"Mary, I think I'm pregnant." I blurted out. She instantly covered her mouth in shock. "I mean, I don't really know yet. I've got a doctor's appointment in a few days to see."
"Wow. Have you said anything to Roger?" She asked me and I shook my head. "I thought you two were being careful."
"We were but after a show in Atlanta, we got a little too drunk and forgot to be careful and now my period is late and I don't know what to do." I vented and she wrapped her arms around me.
"Tell Roger, then make that decision."

I met up with the boys after their meeting and instantly pulled Roger off to the side. "What's going on?" He asked, looking concerned.
"I think I might be pregnant," I told him, looking at the ground. I couldn't bare looking him in the eyes.
"Oh." That was all he said.
"I've got a doctor's appointment in a few days to find out and if you want to come with me you can." He nodded, running his hands through his hair.
"Of course I'll go with you. I mean, I don't know if I'm ready to be a dad but at least it's with you." He pulled me into a hug and began to cry into his jacket.
"Now, tell me how your meeting went."
"Well, he wants us to make an insanely good album very soon. Something that has to be better than Killer Queen. Opera style and everything." He said.
"Why would he want that?" I questioned.
"Because that's what we pitched to him." Roger laughed, wrapping an arm around my shoulder and walking towards the car to go home.

Today was the day. Roger and I were nervously sitting in the waiting room, a lot of people had noticed him so far and most of them were women but I didn't let it bug me. I might be carrying his child so ha. "Mr and Mrs Taylor." The nurse called.
"Pretend we're married," I whispered to him. "They'll be less judgemental." We followed the nurse into the room and sat down in front of the doctor.
"Mrs Taylor, it's lovely to see you again." The doctor said kindly.
"You too, Dr Browne." I smiled politely, gripping Roger's hand very tightly. Part of me wanted to be having a baby but the other part of me didn't. I was truly conflicted.
"So, we do have your blood tests back. And we can tell you that you are pregnant. Congratulations." He smiled and I felt a little bit happy but I didn't want to look at Roger. I didn't want to see the disappointment on his face. "Here are some pamphlets of everything you should know and a sheet with appointment times on them. Congratulations again." The two of us stood up to walk out the door.
"Thank you, Dr." I closed the door behind me and we walked out to the car. "Rog. You haven't said a word to me since we went in. What's wrong?"
"You're pregnant." He said, he still seemed to be in a state of shock. "My career is just taking off and you're pregnant."
"Think about me! My career is just taking off too and now I have to form a human being in me all because we got too drunk." He pulled me into a hug.
"Look, we'll get through this. But first, I think we should move in together."
