Danny was sitting in his car with Charlotte hours later, knowing that they both messed up.
"Danny, I never meant to ruin..."
"You didn't!" Danny interrupted, "You could never ruin anything for me."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
Danny got closer to Charlotte and kissed her forehead, seeing how worried she was.
"He needs to accept how happy we are."
Rafe walked over to the both of them. He looked at Danny and then to Charlotte.
"Rafe..." Charlotte said
"Can I speak to Danny please?"
"Yeah I'm getting tired anyway."
As Charlotte left she looked at Danny and see him mouth "I love you." She blushed and bit her lip until Rafe noticed and she rushed away immediately.
"Rafe..." Danny said, "you have to realize something. Charlotte is growing up, and she wants to be with me because she trusts me and cares about me, can you accept that we're together?"
Rafe looked at Danny and was struggling to process it. His best friend and his younger sister were together. Rafe knew that he was being overprotective but he didn't want Charlotte to get hurt either.
"I just need to time to think Danny. I still need to get used to it. I'm sorry Danny."
"RAFE!" Danny yelled "Don't you think that charlottes happiness should be with someone she's known her whole life?"
"I don't know Danny, I've told you many times that Charlotte is off limits, how long have you had feelings for her?"
"Longer than you think." Danny said "Rafe please..."
