BTS was invited to the Grammys this year and we are going to perform Dionysus. We were all practicing when my manager Jisoo (bp) came in and asked to speak with me privately
" The Grammy association wants you to perform Solo", Jisoo said excitedly. I froze shocked.
"I know this might be a big step. But the stage manager for the Grammys really thinks you performing a duet with an American artist would be a good addition to the set list".
"A duet", I said weakly. " But with who?" Jisoo shrugged " I don't know yet"
" Do I have a choice?" I asked because I seriously doubted that Mr. Big Hit would really let me not perform at the Grammys.
"No", Jisoo said frankly
I sighed, but I knew that was coming.
"When do I get my materials?" I asked feeling defeated because I had no choice but to perform,and the fact I was performing without my members just made my anxiety worse.
"Uhm well were actually going to fly to LA tomorrow to meet with the artist and learn the new materials", Jisoo said a bit annoyed because her date with Lisa was tomorrow.
"Oh okay", that's annoying I had a hookup planned with Lee Know from Stray Kids planned tomorrow.
Me and Lee Know have been doing meaningless hookups for about a while now. It started when he was a backup dancer for BTS.
We both figured out we were gay at the same time and one thing led to another. But we DO NOT have feelings for each other.Plus he's head over heals wiped for this other guy in his group named Han. The only reason we were still hooking up is because it's nice to be around someone who's also gay. We're usually just so horny that one thing leads to another and then we wake up in a bed together.
"Pack your bags your dismissed from rehearsal for today", Jisoo said as she walked away leaving me still in shook.
Why would the Grammys pick me.Why not have RM perform with Drake or something. OOF oh well.
I went back to the dorm and started packing after I texted Namjoon about me leaving for LA. I packed a few pairs of pajamas and sweat shirts. Then I packed a cute outfit for my rehearsal with whoever the American artist was.

I was having a cup of tea with my brunch when my agent walked in.
"Take a seat and have some tea with me while we talk business would you please Neil (Patrick Harris)".
"Oh yes thank you", Neil took a seat and poured a cup raspberry zinger tea. After he was comfortable he looked at me with a bright smile.
"First of all I would like to congratulate you on the Grammy nomination for best male singer".he said kindly.
"Thank you".I replied happily thinking about how amazing it would be to be gifted with such a prize.
"The Board for the Grammys would like to add a duet to your performances set", he said briefly while looking at me " And they want you to perform with ........", I cut him off
"I'm NOT performing with Shawn or Camilla EVER!!!!"I said quickly. Even the idea of having to be in the same room as them was bad enough but PERFORMING with them NO just NO.
Camilla and Shawn had broken up months ago but it still hurt to see them. They were still friends too which made it worse because when me and Shawn broke up he never bothered to say "sorry", or "I still want to be friends", or "Harry your the most perfect person ever. I can't believe I went and wasted our relationship on a pig like Camila, PLEASE take me back".
Yeah the last one was a long shot but when me and Shawn broke up he just texted me and said "I didn't want you to find out this way".
I was broken out of my stream of depressing conscious when my agent said "Are you even listening to me!" I looked up at him.
"No I'm sorry..... could you say that agin please."
"Well originally they wanted you and Camilla to duet some song called I Know What You Did Last Summer". I sighed because I did know what her and Shawn did last summer. Fuck.
"But then I told them That if they wanted you to perform it would have to be with someone else", I nodded as I was excited to hear who I was performing with.
"Continue", I replied excited.
"So your going to perform some song called ...Ain't No Mountain High Enough bye Marvin Gray and Tammi Terrel. It's an older Song".
"Ok I like that song", I said as I thought about that song. Me and my friends would listen to that song in middle school.
"And your going to perform it with ................
Selena Gomez".
BET you thought it was going to be JIMIN NOPE Oh god if your reading this I feel bad for you. Anyways thanks for being an amazing human being!!!!!!!!
