"Kaira! What on earth is wrong with you? Do you think I am a numbskull? What do you achieve by annoying me? You are the nub of all the problems in class! How many time do I have to face your mother in the office?" I heard from one ear and could feel it escaping from the other. "I'm sorry teacher", I blurted out clearly. Finally she let me sit. I then spent the rest of the class staring at my notebook, trying to figure out what to write and day dreaming!

At first I thought about the music competition which was to be held two days ago and got cancelled because of me (Long story). Then my mind gave space to the field trip incident, where I stopped the bus in the middle of nowhere. Thoughts kept on flooding my mind, but then from nowhere the most beautiful thought entered my head. My senses got adapted to the environment that I was dreaming about. The thought itself was enough to wash away all the anger I had towards my teacher just a few seconds ago.

It went something like this: I was dressed in a navy blue sleeveless gown, that looked exactly like the one I had seen in the boutique. My black hair was braided into a fishtail braid which fell loosely down my shoulder. My eyes were darkened with black eyeliner and my lips were painted dark pink which perfectly matched my tanned face. My cheeks were touched with blue blush (rare!) and my ears were decorated with tiny yet noticeable pearl earrings. My bitten nails, were painted pink- a perfect match for my lips.My feet were resting on glittering silver pencil heels, which simply looked gorgeous!

I was standing on the stage with the award of my dreams in my hand. My lips were thanking the audience for all their support and encouragement and my eyes were busy scanning the crowd. Camera flashes! Hearing my name in the crowds! Ah! The limelight was just to much.

"Kaira Khanna!" I felt something hit my nose....."Ouch!", I said not caring about what it was. When I finally came into my senses, I realized that it was Miss Nidhi who had aimed her chalk on me. I guess I was smiling in class.........again! Well, this happens very often. I always end up smiling in class due to this wonderful dream and always end up whitening my nose.

I was thinking to much about the World Photography Conference. Before that, I had to receive a letter from the authorities informing me that I was selected for the next round of the contest, which was- a photography workshop on an island in the North Atlantic Ocean.
