The other two stepped in, and they all looked around.
It was in a better state than any of them imagined. No, it wasn't well kept, but it wasn't growing mold on the walls. Some drawings looked to have been made by children, and the posters were still there. Some of the wall decor was yellow from age and was falling a bit, but they still were great quality posters. The only out-of-place thing was the glass shattered on the floor, which they assumed was from the broken window.
"Wow," Heather said.
"I was gonna say the same thing," Sarah said.
"Yeah for an unused pizzeria, it's pretty nice," Heather said, walking to look at some of the drawings.
"There is no way in hell that this place is unused," Tracie said.
"Well, what would be here then Trace?" Sarah asked.
"I don't know Sarah- Sarah are you crying?"
Heather turned to her, and Sarah wiped her eyes. "No...yes. But it's just...because it's scary."
"Oh Sarah, it's okay! You don't have anything to worry about!" Heather said, just as the door they entered through slammed shut. They all screamed as some kind of chime sounded. Heather pulled out her phone and saw the time.
"Midnight...weird," Heather muttered.
"Uhm..guys?" Sarah asked.
"I'm thinking the same thing, Sarah, how are we gonna get out? Well, we can figure it out after we-'' Heather had turned to see Sarah staring at this random guy that showed up. He had dirty blonde hair that ran down his back in a low ponytail. He wore a black top hat, a pale yellow button-down, and black slacks with matching dress shoes. Standing a couple of inches taller than them, he leaned against the wall and had no true expression on his face as he watched them.
Heather looked at the door and then back to him. "Did you do this?"
The guy just stared into Heather's soul, and she just rolled her eyes. "You know, you aren't scary for being-" She was interrupted by Trace's scream, and she turned to them.
And they were nowhere to be seen.
"What did you do to them!?" Sarah exclaimed, turning back to the guy.
The guy had the same expression, his ice-blue eyes pierced into her, and they held all of the emotions that he wasn't letting show on his face.
Anger and confusion.
"What do you want with them!?" Sarah yelled.
The guy's eyes flicked up from her, and back down. Sarah turned around and gasped.Heather was now gone too.
"Heather!?" She exclaimed and turned back to him. "Leave them alone, jerk!" She yelled as she began to cry.
"Are you really gonna cry?" He asked as she started crying more. The guy seemed to panic a bit. "Shit shit shit, don't fucking cry."
Sarah backed away, letting herself slide down the closest wall, and began sobbing. She listened to him mumble curses, as she heard footsteps come down the hall.
"GOLDEN! I KNOW YOU DID NOT JUST DO THAT!"
Sarah looks up at the woman coming down the hall. She's a bit blurry to her, but she could see lots of purple tones. And...cat..ears?
Which was weird, but worse things were going on.
"What did you do with my friends!?" Sarah yelled.
The lady looked down at her, and then back at the guy, which she now knew as Golden.
