Chapter 1: Idiot

[This takes place before the school festival]

Jirou walked in to class 5 minutes early and sat down in her seat. "Heyyyyyy, Jirou." Kaminari said to her. "Umm. Hi.." Jirou said tiredly. She had spent all night practicing her instruments and writing songs. "You seem tired. Did you stay up late?" Kaminari asked. "No. I just.... didn't sleep well. That's all." Jirou said. She was always a little embarrassed when people asked her about her music. "Were you playing your guitar? You know what, I remember hearing music last night. I bet you-" Jirou pointed her earphone jack directly at Kaminari's face. "Shut it!" Jirou snapped as she turned away. "Sorry! I didn't mean to.." Kaminari said as he looked down at his desk. "Whatever." Jirou said dismissively.

At lunch, Kaminari followed Jirou and sat down next to her. "Heyyyyy, again.." Kaminari said to her. "What do you want, idiot?" Jirou said annoyed. "Hey! That's not my name. My name is Denki Kaminari, and what's wrong? Why are you so... mad? Did something happen?" Kaminari asked concerningly. "That's not your problem to worry about. Also, why do you keep bothering me?" Jirou asked. "I just wanna hang out with my bro- Sorry, I meant chick- uhhhhh.... Friend?" Kaminari stuttered. "Pfft. You really need to pay attention to who you're talking to." Jirou said as she used her chopsticks to put some sushi in her mouth. "Sorry. Did you hear we have a school festival? I'm so excited!" Said Kaminari. "Of course I heard. I was sitting right there next to you in class, dumbass." Jirou said. " Well....." Kaminari said slowly. "What?" Jirou asked. "Do you think you could put on a show with your music???" Kaminari asked excitedly. "No! I mean... Maybe. It depends on what the class wants to do." Jirou said.

At the dorms...

"Alright everyone. We need to brainstorm some ideas for the festival." Iida said. Jirou was hoping they would suggest some kind of skit or show, but she didn't want to cave in to Kaminari's idea. "Jirou, what's your idea?" Iida asked. "Ummm..." Jirou stuttered. "Maybe a show or concert?" I didn't think she'd actually cave in to the idea! Kaminari thought. "That actually might be a good idea." Iida said. "We should do a whole show with dancing and music and special effects!!!" Mina said excitedly. "Perfect! Is everyone on board?" Iida asked the group. "Hell yeah! This will be great!" Kaminari exclaimed.
They came up with teams for each part of the show.
Dance group: Asui, Iida, Mineta, Uraraka, Toru, Aoyama, Ojirou, Mina, Midoriya, Sato, Shoji.
Band team: Jirou, Kaminari, Tokoyami, Bakugou, Yaoyorozu.
Special Effects group: Aoyama, Midoriya, Kirishima, Koda, Sero, Todoroki.
