Chapter 5: Coffee

Recovery Girl and All Might left, leaving the band team outside- except Bakugou, who had went inside. "Are you okay?" Kaminari asked Jirou. "Fine.. That was my fault. I shouldn't have just walked in the middle of your fight." Jirou said. "It wasn't your fault that Bakugou was being an asshole and you were standing up for yourself. If there's anyone to blame, it's him." Kaminari said reassuring Jirou. They all went back inside for the night.

The next morning... [Saturday]

Jirou woke up and sat on her bed thinking about last night. She couldn't stop picturing Kaminari's face. Why does he cared so much about me? Jirou asked herself. There was a knock at the door. She opened the door to see Kaminari standing there. "Hey! You wanna get some coffee?" Kaminari asked. "Sure. Let me get dressed." Jirou said. "Ok. I'll wait for you in the living room." Kaminari said.

In the living room....

Kaminari walked down the stairs to see Mineta, Kirishima, and Sero standing there. "Hey...." Kaminari said confused. "What happened last night?" Kirishima asked. "Well.... Uh-" Jirou walked down the stairs wearing a plain black T-shirt, black and white long sleeved striped under shirt, fishnet stockings, and a black skirt. "You ready?" Jirou asked. "Woah...... Uh- Yeah!" Kaminari stuttered. Wow. She looks.... beautiful. Kaminari thought. The boy's jaws dropped as Kaminari opened the door for Jirou and they walked out. "What the-" Mineta gasped. "HE SCORED A CHICK?? HOLY SHI-" The girls walked into the room. "What's going on, guys?" Asui asked. "KAMINARI SCORED A CHICK!!" Mineta yelled with tears rolling down his face. "Who?" Mina asked. "Jirou, suprisingly." Kirishima stated. "Really?" Hagakure asked. "Yeah.... Shocking, right?" Sero asked. The rest of the boys came down stairs looking for breakfast. "What's going on?...." Midoriya asked. "KAMINARI SCORED A CHICK!!" Mineta screamed again. "Who would go out with that loser?" Bakugou asked. Everyone turned to Bakugou, who was standing on the last step of the stairs. "Jirou.." Sero replied. "WHAT?!" The group of boys yelled. "HOW- W- B-" The boys asked loudly.

With Jirou and Kaminari...

"It's nice to get away from everyone." Jirou said. "Then..... Why did you come with  me?...." Kaminari asked puzzled . "Uhh- Umm- Because you are my only friend.." Jirou stuttered. Why did I come with him? Jirou asked herself. "Nice! I have a friend!" Kaminari exclaimed. "Don't you have friends? Like Kirishima, Sero, and Mineta?" Jirou asked. "I mean my first girlfri- I mean... Friend that's a chic- I mean... Girl that's a friend?..." Kaminari stumbled over his words. Jirou stopped. Kaminari stopped and looked at her. "What?....." Kaminari asked. "W- Why did you stand up for me?..." Jirou asked quietly. "Because Bakugou is and asshole and needs to learn where he belongs- in the trash." Kaminari explained. "PFFFT." Jirou laughed. They kept on walking. That's not the reason. Not at all. Kaminari thought to himself.
Finally they made it to the coffee shop. Jirou ordered a medium pumpkin spice latte and Kaminari ordered a French vanilla iced coffee with extra sugar. They sat down at a table. "So...." Kaminari said quietly waiting for someone to say something. "Umm. How's the 'bro squad'?" Jirou asked. "They're... well- Mineta is still trying to find a girlfriend, Kirishima is wondering how he should ask out Mina- Uhh... You've heard too much!" Kaminari exclaimed. "Don't worry. The secret is safe with me. I don't usually hang out with those girls." Jirou said. "Then who do you hang out with?.." Kaminari asked. Just you. Only you. No one else. Kinda pathetic. Jirou thought. "No one. Just you- I mean.. No one." Jirou stuttered. Only me? She can't be serious. Kaminari thought. "So.... you spend all of your free time getting coffee, writing music, playing instruments, and listening to music?" Kaminari asked. "Sounds pretty lonely to me." "Well, that's why I have yo- Uh.. Yup! Pretty lonely." Jirou stuttered again. What am I saying? Jesus Christ. Am I really falling for this idiot? Jirou thought to herself. What is going on with her? She seems.. flustered? Kaminari thought. "You wanna go back to the dorms?" Kaminari asked. "Sure." She said.

At the dorms....

Everyone was waiting for them to get back. As they opened the door, they jumped back. "Uhh... Hey, guys. What's going on?" Kaminari asked slowly. "What don't you tell us?" Mina exclaimed. The girls brought Jirou to Mina's room, and the boys took Kaminari to Kirishima's room.

In Mina's room...

So. What's up with you and Kaminari? Do you like him? Are you guys dating?!" Mina asked. Jirou's face turned red. "No! We just went out for coffee. That's all~" Jirou said as she covered her face with her hands. "Yeah. SUrE." Mina said.

In Kirishima's room....

"WHAT'S GOING ON WITH YOU AND JIROU?!" Mineta screamed at Kaminari. "Do you like her?" Midoriya asked. "Are you guys dating?!" Kirishima asked. "Uhhh... No! She doesn't like me." Kaminari said blushing. "Wait! You didn't answer my question! You do like her!" Midoriya said excitedly. "Ok. Fine. You guys got me. I like her. What's the big deal? But she'll never like me back." Kaminari exclaimed.
